yeah bro. the sdcc version is carded with no surfer. retail offering will be in the window box...i'm just happy your prediction that sdcc galactus would be packaged with a different herald was wrong. now i don't have to seat getting both. we need to get a few of those caps though!

I will get at least 2 for myself one to keep MOC (dang you and my wife) to go with last year's SDCC MOC figures and another to play with. I know he is the Ulti Cap in appearance but he also reminds me of Trenton Craft... Col America. IF I can snag more than 2 and not bankrupt myself, then I will update my custom of him and use this body insead of the CG that I currently use.

That carded Galactus is awesome. To be honest, I'm not super-excited about the Thor or Cap. I've never seen that version of Thor's costume, and I couldn't be happier with the Copiel version of Thor. Cap is cool, but I have enough Cap's already.

Hopefully, they can give us characters people are clamoring for, but they refuse to sell in the regular line like a business suit Tony Stark or Norman Osborn.

i bet it's just a prototype. i could see hasbro utilizing the new aim soldier's body with some slight mods to create this new cap. guess we'll see

I have to agree, after the pics you sent me earlier it really does look like the AIM body. All they have to change out is the lower arms & legs as well as the head.

Now I may have to try and pick up an AIM figure to make (remake) my Col America (trenton craft).

That Galactus is SWEET! I really like the idea of having a big ass card like that. Really cool. I like that Cap as well, but agree the ball-joints gotta go.

I'm pretty sure these are prototypes. They don't look full painted

EDIT

Found this on AFP they are prototypes

EXCLUSIVE: Hasbro Marvel SDCC Exclusives

If you picked up ToyFare #155 (on sale now, donchaknow!), you have borne witness to something pretty awesome: three of Hasbro’s sure-to-be-red-hot exclusives for July’s San Diego Comic-Con. But since the only glimpse we gave you of Ultimate Captain America and Ages of Thunder Thor was our super-artsy cover image, I decided to throw some more images up on our blog of the figures under non-fancy lighting. Please note that these were prototypes, so the final paints probably won’t end up looking exactly like this. Ready for your WORLD-EXCLUSIVE?

That Galactus is astonishing! I plan on using it for my Marvel Legends figs instead, although I collect all the Marvel Universe line too.

Man that Thor is fugly. The recent main line Universe figure looks much better.
Cap looks cool. Though those joints do look kinda wonky. Yeah, hopfully that's just a prototype/test shot figure.

I think it'd be kind of cool to buy a huge carded figure just to have and hang on the wall.

What's the story behind that Thor? I've heard a lot of hype for that one but don't know the background story.

Action Figure Pics stated that both the Cap and Thor are prototypes, so this will not be the final paint job.

Thor should look this this at the end:

I open all my stuff, and I REALLY want that metallic Silver Surfer, so I am going to wait for the boxed version.
