I know they probably have had multiple Zilla's ready to go, but I'm just over here waiting for some other classic Kaiju haha (and I'm not counting the KotM versions of Mothra and Rodan!)

I feel like Randy's said on Twitter that they wouldn't sell, but who knows. The Monsterarts ones are too expensive for anyone who didn't buy at release, I feel like they'd sell. Especially Mothra.

Sadly, NECA stated they will NOT be doing anything beyond Godzilla despite having access to the full library. This royally sucks as not having a Mothra to go with this Godzilla is what is holding me back from wanting to pull the trigger on this guy. Granted, I'll probably still end up buying one when I find him, but at least in theory, I'm happy with my MonsterArt since I've got the Revoltech Mothra to go with him even if it is a tad smaller.

Now for the figure itself, the mouth still looks a bit off and the eyebrows should be a bit brownish. Other than that, he does look great.

If their five zillion Godzilla variants can sell well enough to make, surely they can give us ONE Gigan or Mechagodzilla, right?? They have to be a safer bet than Valerian figures haha (I know I've ripped on NECA a lot for the Valerian figures, but c'mon, it's kinda deserved!)

I can't believe that the Hellraiser figure would sell better than a Classic Ghidorah or Classic Mothra. Hell, They keep spamming the Alien Queen rereleases/repaints and I gotta believe everyone who wants the mold already have it.

A classic Ghidorah the size of Alien Queen would get my $$$ so fast Randy's head would spin.

Old school Showa Ghidorah wouldn't even need to be as big as the alien queen since classic KG's body and legs were mostly the same size as Godzilla's and his wings weren't ridiculously large. I'm sure it'd theoretically still be a large deluxe item but nowhere near as much as the Queen in price/size.

Have you guys seen the Showa King Ghidorah that's being sold on eBay? It looks like a KO but is a totally new mold right in scale with SH Monsterarts. I picked it up a month or two ago, worth the price but some paint work would make it shine.

Of what? It's an all new mold that's different than the SH Monsterarts Ghidorah. Did they make a Showa Ghidroah I missed?

It's apparently from a stolen mold and made by an unofficial company who didn't pay for the license.

Ok well it's an unreleased/new product as far as the consumers are concerned. I know it's unlicensed, but it's still a good option out there.

Great photoshoot!
Man, the figure looks great.
I realize the eyes are not "screen accurate" but I prefer them being clear.
The cloudy eyes on the MonsterArts version just look weird.

I'm firmly in the camp that NECA needs to make some of Godzilla's rogue gallery as well.

As soon as you open the flap, there's a photo of two Mothra larvae from the movie, and it hits you: MAN a two-pack of those guys would be amazing with this figure!

Just got this figure in the mail today. Knocked it out of the park!

Well so much for my whole, "I'm done with NECA" spiel. I just couldn't control myself when I came across him:

The sculpt is amazing, except, I think there is something wrong with his right arm. It can't bend more than like 20 degrees. Is this how it is supposed to look:

Oh, and the fire breath accessory can't be placed in his mouth at all. It just scratches against the teeth when I try to put it in.

It almost looks like a left bicep is on the right arm, so the elbow sculpt is kind of getting in the way.

Excellent pick up, the 62' Zilla has a hole in the mouth to put the fire effect

Yep, after looking at the pictures here, it turns out I have two left biceps. I'm going to head back to Target tonight and hope they still have one of the other two.

Yeah, this one does not though. You just have to rest the effect into the mouth and hope it stays, but it looks weird because it's not fire out in the proper angle.

For the first time this week, I actually had good luck with something. My Target still had the other 2 64s instock so I was able to get one that did NOT have two left upper arms. With that said, I am quite impressed with this figure. In fact, it might be my favorite Godzilla figure to date. He looks as menacing as he does in the movie and the articulation is nearly identical to that of the MonsterArts minus the weird triangular cuts on the side and I can move the body back far enough to close the spine gappage if I want to. Though, I must admit, the gappage doesn't bother me as much as it does on the MonsterArt, but that could just be because as I said, I can close it if I so desire. The tail is fantastic and there is so much detail put into the dude. I wish NECA would redo the 54 Godzilla entirely. Of course, I also wish NECA would at least give us a Mothra to go with him, but the 92 MonsterArts version will have to do (and the small ass Revoltech version). The pictures NECA has released for this guy online and in the box do not do him justice at all.

Nice compare pics, now im even more happy with my 62' Zilla. i like this one the best, out of those three.
62' zilla has more of a plumpy bottom half and has the bigger hands and hips

Well he should, since the suit itself was plumpy and had bigger hands.

My favorite suit for the Showa era has always been the 64 one because of how mean looking Godzilla is.

Great pics Dr. Kain! I didn't realize how small the SHMA one was in comparison, mine has been boxed up for a while. I was able to meet Nakajima at a Con a few years ago before he passed and got him to sign that box, so I put the figure in there.
