Eh, it's a few bucks higher than I would like, but if we get a figure that looks just as good, if not better than the prototype, then I'll take it.

Heck, MU was charging just a few bucks less for shoddier paint work, so-so articulation, and ZERO accessories most of the time towards the end of its run last year, so within the terms inflation has left us with, this is pretty good.

⬆️Totally agree. We need to accept that in the 4 inch realm 15 to 25 dollars is a decent price point. Especially if you can promise good articulation and accessories. I know some will be outraged and give examples of “back in the day” but those days are gone. Look around the toy landscape, HECK just look at some of the other stuff from this years SDCC. Its all either high end statues or pricey 12 inch dolls. The golden age of commercial action figures is OVER.

Do you understand that this -

And those cost the EXACT same amount of money????

It's because of people like you that companies like this to do whatever the hell they want. Because they can, and people will still waste their $20 on $10 worth of toy.

Thats not really a fair comparrison. The groot figure is meant to be a toy. Its made by a huge company and produced in 10's of thousands.
The Injustice figures are from a small company and produced in much smaller numbers.
Its also the same price as the Falcon Hasbro put out last year.
Pick up one of their predators and compare it to the funko predator which is half the cost and tell me it isnt double the value.
Pick up an infinite heroes superman and tell me it makes it to half the value.

How much does the paint compare? 'Cause that adds up to cost. Why do you think Bandai of America tends to cheap out in odd areas? If these have more paint than that figure, then that would add up to cost. Also, how much does Legends tend to reuse molds? Injustice 2 has to do all new molds, pretty sure that adds up too.

Also, I think Hiya is a Japanese company? Might be wrong on that, but imports tend to cost a bit more. You've already gotten the smaller company thing, so I won't bother you with that, but point is, there are factors you don't seem to be taking into account.
