Here's another look at those dragon wings I love: Mega Bloks - RAWLSONG -Ocean Camouflage Dragon : Toys & Games : Amazon.com

I do think the 4 wings are excessive. Thankfully because they're MB I could pop two of the wings out so all the ones I own display only two wings.

The individual figures are up for preorder on TRU including Legolas for wave 1. I cancelled my amazon preorders as the TRU prices for the 2 packs and 5 pack are cheaper and free shipping is available. October can't get here soon enough!

Is gandalf really in 1:18th (3.75") scale?
If so, I'd buy him in a minute! we caould have Gandalf and Doctor Strange chillin' out together, smoking pipes (gotta get that shire weed) and kickin' back.

REALLY HOPING THESE ARE 1:18th SCALE!
Some great customizing potential if they are...and with some light blue drybrushing, that Goblin King would make a great Frost Giant or Asgardian Rock Troll!
I'd have the Warriors Three, Sif, Beta Ray Bill and Thor kicking it's ass.

Saw them at TRU wednesday. Not a very big section, but had at least 1 or each first wave.

Loving the pics! Based on the scale pic with Gandalf I'm really gonna love this line! I've got the single packs and most of the two packs on order, but I'm definitely gonna have to run out and army build the hell out of those wargs! Can't wait for my stuff to get in next week!!

Who is that female? She looks great and has some real customs potential.
Going Gandalf hunting tomorrow! Gotta buy a couple now...
What's the articultion look like though?
Gandalf there looks to have ball shoulders but the woman seems to have crappy straight-arm articulation and I cant tell with the dwarves...

There is a 6" Legolas in wave 1. The female elf is named Tauriel and there's a 6inch version. Of her too, though she looks very undersized - same height as Thorin.

I'm assuming the other dwarves will be shorter and that Tori's, as the leader, is probably the talles of the dwarves.

As for articulation, what I've gathered from other boards is:
Ball neck - though impaired by hair on many figures,
Swivel hinge shoulders
Swivel hinge elbows
Cut wrists
V swivel hinge hips like modern Star Wars
Swivel hinge knees
No ankles
No idea about the waist

So the articulation seems a lot like Star Wars figures minus ankles. I'm heading out hunting today and will post if I find anything.

Something awkward about these figs that I can't quite put my finger on...would get a good dragon though.

No luck finding anything in store, but TRU added the Legolas/Tauriel 2 pack, the Gandalf/Bolg deluxe 2 pack, the Thorin/Goblin King set, and the Fimbul w/Warg set to the website. They are listed as in stock as opposed to the single packs and original 2 pack listings that are still marked as pre-orders and since they are not pre-orders there is no 1 per customer limit so I picked up a couple extra warg packs and elf 2 packs for customizing. I also cancelled my original pre-orders and shuffled things around since I no longer needed single versions of some figures, got free shipping, and got 20% off. Now to play the waiting game!
