Just getting back to the main jist of the thread... I can't say enough about how pleased I've been with my decision to move to HT Iron Man stuff as the focal point of my collecting. Creating that focus--and concentrating on a high quality product--has finally created the right balance for me.

The only bad press you'll hear about HT is the price and the feeling that they "milk" certain franchises, Iron Man most egregiously. Both of those are subjective perspectives, of course. Complaints about manufacturing & QC issues are rare, and a quick glance at seondary market prices show you certainly can't complain that they don't hold their value (not an important consideration for me, but definitely to some).

They've got a pretty aggressive schedule for the release of new product this year; I'd say the challenge for them will be to continue to deliver in the fashion they have been.

And where is news of my HT Iron Monger, hmm?
