I like American style articulation(GI JOE mainly) the best.
im pretty scared im going to break joints on my Japanese figures every time I use them despite having great range.

GI Joe articulation isn't bad but stuff like Marvel Legends and Universe with ball jointed hips annoy me. They never pose properly and I always break them. Japanese figs with revoltech-like ball joints usually come apart before you can break them. Plus companies have really come a long way in finding ways to hide the joints so they aren't nearly as obvious as US figs.
