The U.S. joined World War II after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. On the European front, U.S. Army troops formed a significant portion of the forces that captured North Africa and Sicily. On D-Day and in the subsequent liberation of Europe and defeat of Germany, millions of U.S. Army troops played a central role. In the Pacific, Army soldiers participated alongside U.S. Marines in the "island hopping" campaign that wrested the Pacific Islands from Japanese control. Following the Axis surrenders in May (Germany) and September (Japan) of 1945, Army troops were deployed to Japan and Germany to occupy the two defeated nations.

These are 21st Century Toys figures. Who is JSI. Is this a new company formed from the ashes of 21C?

JSI was a company that manufactured toys for 21st Century Toys, and they were able to retrieve many(but not all) of their original molds.

From what I've heard, their Lightning and Corsair reissues turned out exceptionally well, with none of the quality control problems commonly associated with 21st Century Toys' releases. They are definitely committed to providing quality product, and 21st Century Toys was a huge lesson for them.
