Found the set at Walmart, they wouldn't let me buy them though. Talked to the manager and everything, "street dated"! So I don't know how others are buying them.

^ IMO Movie waves are like the only thing that should be street dated. I found a Ultimate Bautista at Target and was street dated... i was so irked... I will probably never see him again.

^^I don't think you have much to worry about as I don't see these exactly flying off of the shelves. I'm likely wrong, given the frenetic energy that surrounds almost everything MCU, but I believe this wave might actually test the Thor franchise's 'money printing' capacity.

IMO King Valkyrie is the most interesting design of the lot and while I don't care one whit about her title (or its obvious intentionality as a trigger for certain demographics), as a canon collector, I just don't see myself getting the fig.

The biggest disappointment might be Gorr, as the figure I was most looking forward to when announced. But now seeing that the tease was for the MCU version, I'm pretty crestfallen over the decision as I doubt there will be a canon version even with Knull being the BAF for some, as of yet, unnamed future wave.

It's besides the point of the rest of your post but as I recall someone from the Hasbro team already said Knull won't be a BAF and later leaks for the Spider-Man 60th anniversary assortment suggest Knull will be in a two-pack there.

Thanks for the clarification and heads up. I don't pay much attention to the PR outside of release date and any exclusive retailer info provided. That's actually a relief as Knull is the only thing Symbiote I'm interested in and I'm relieved I won't have to wade through a wave to nab the figure.

Saw them all at Walmart. Saw the $24.99 and easily passed on these. I am done with Marvel Legends. Will wait for sales and clearances and be patient for a couple of years when Hasbro releases a completed BAF figure.

They may have grabbed another ML figure that's not street dated and used that to scan if they paid via self check out. I've read folks doing that...granted that does mess up the inventory...Or even found an employee who would over ride the street date is another possibility.

People usually drag another figure up, scan it at self checkout, and then leave it there.

Even scummier when it's a cheaper figure they scan.

If the Lady Thor head sculpt is supposed to represent Natalie Portman, then they most terribly failed. Also, pretty colorful costumes for Thor lol.
