I have a question regarding selling mini figures. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My son is selling off all of his LEGO sets and mini figures in order to buy himself a laptop. One of his friends is buying all the sets, including ones from DC, SpongeBob, Star Wars, TMNT, Ninjago, and more for a significantly lower price than I would like. He's barely getting more for all of them than I paid just for the Batcave!

But, he is not including the figures in the sale. He's asked me to eBay the lot. Should I break them apart into categories, i.e. DC, Star Wars, etc or try to sell all of them together? There's a ton. After perusing some much smaller sets on eBay and seeing them go for hundreds, my inclination is to make smaller lots. Any thoughts? Wrong section for this but...

most of the money is in the mini figures anyway so even if your son is selling them cheap he should make a killing on the minifigs. Definitely in smaller lots by themes. You'll get more that way. Selling in a big lot is just to get rid of them more easily for you but if you want to maximize revenue sell in small lots. |

Thanks! And, yeah, I couldn't figure out which thread it truly belonged under. Thought sellers would be more on the ball.
