So I found these 2 yesterday at a Wal Mart. I am glad I am done with the CnC Grapnel Gun.
I was really worried these would become like the last of the Green Lantern movie figures where it became hard as hell to finish Parallax. I think the Lex is a pretty Blah figure, but would be great as a just geeky henchman. I have to say I am pretty impressed with the Bat Creature. They spent a lot of sculpting time on a basically one and done mold. I still will have to grab a second creature if I can find one. They will make great gargoyles. ![]() ![]() |

Didn't they have a TRU exclusive set a few years ago that was the 4 of them done in their Real Ghostbusters cartoon colors? Those actually looked a little better I think since the likeness of these figures isn't that good but when they're based on the cartoon it doesn't matter as much.

The traps, beams and readers would be cool as long as the beams didn't suck.

But this is Mattel so they are known to go with just the most basic of elements for figures. The fact that these are just repaints of their previous figures shows how little they actually care about the fans' wants.

I will probably end up picking up this set if I can find it. I much prefer this set to the Diamond figures because they generally have better likenesses to the actors. I bought them all on Matteycollector's website, but the Egon figure I have was a SDCC exclusive and he's got some slime painted on whereas the rest of my set are clean. Also a couple of mine have broken cables on their proton packs and wands because the plastic used was so brittle. |

I actually want that BAF logo more than I want the figures! I'm a sucker for all things glow-in-the-dark. That logo would go well with the Diamond Select Ghostbusters I already got from TRU, which has all the accessories!

I think each has their ups and downs. While neither is exactly good I'd say DST came closer to Bill Murray's likeness at least because they got the shape of his head down better. Mattel on the other hand handled Egon's glasses better from the looks of things. I do think DST's Dan Aykroyd is strictly better. The bodies of the Select ones are quite better looking but that on its own would be expected.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think Mattel's Winston is dead on. Their Egon and Venkman are both very good too but their Ray is way off. Ray is the only one that DST really nailed from what I've seen. There is no contest in the articulation and accessories departments though. The DST figures are leaps and bounds better than Mattel in those instances. One last reason why I prefer the Mattel figures is that they scale fairly well with my old Kenner Ecto 1. To each their own though. Honestly, I'd buy them all if money and space weren't an issue*

![]() ![]() Little mini haul I got at TRU today. I've been waiting for these Cinemachines and thankfully they don't disappoint. The Space Jockey is basically the coolest paperweight ever and the Derelict is as weird and impressive as it was in the movie. Then for just $13 I couldn't pass on getting a toy of Harold Ramis either.

Did any of you Predator Collectors buy the Figuarts Predator. I was curious to hear peoples thoughts about it.
