I would love to do that one, and while I have a ghettoblaster, I seriously lack a punk figure! Is there anything out there that I could use? I may buy him just for this picture.
I also plan to do the one with Scotty and the mouse. Just remembered, I was waiting for Scotty to arrive but he is here now. I need to borrow the small radio that looks like a computer from my brother. |

![]() Nearly died of shock when I saw these on the shelves. Unfortunately Cara Dune had gone which was the figure I most wanted from this wave, and the Jet Trooper. Only $30AUD too. If you live in Australia and have a K-Mart nearby, check it out.

Another one? Don't they have enough characters to develop with Rey, Finn, Rose, Poe, Hux, Kylo, Chewie, Leia, and Lando returning? Not to mention the screen time they will have to give to BB8 and his droid antics? It's the end of the story, which means the time to introduce new characters is over.

Managed to find a ML Psylocke figure at a GameStop that was two hours away from me. Totally worth the drive to avoid paying the insane prices on eBay and Amazon.

Nice find!! Just curious.. why would you drive that far if they could simply ship it to the nearest GS to you from that store it was in?? Unless it was just thrill of the hunt type joy and the pleasure you get from driving and making the purchase... that i get.

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...69b4f270_b.jpg Amphibian Man came in the mail today. NECA really knocked it out of the park with this one, the sculpt and paint work are top-notch and he handles very well. I had no stuck or loose joints and was easily able to switch out the alternate forearms and hands. The included base is fairly sizable and has a nice "wet spot" effect that doesn't capture well on camera but really helps the overall look. Even if I hadn't seen the movie I'd still likely really enjoy this figure just as a modern approach to the Gill Man. I do have questions - I have no idea what to do with the two little small extra fins. Where do you put them? What are they for? There is no explanation. Did you take off the arms just like that without heating? The hands are pretty lose and can be taken off easily but I don't dare to force the arms too much so I guess I'll use the hot water method. Same for the head, to get the chains on. It seems pretty stuck. That base is awesome! My front lock (with the head chain) seems to be loose and can be wriggled but the other two locks seem to be molded. Is that the same for you? |

I tried to get them to but they weren't willing to do it. So I made the trip.

I finally got my Amphibian Man today as well! Neighbour had him for days but apparently was away.

My front lock (with the head chain) seems to be loose and can be wriggled but the other two locks seem to be molded. Is that the same for you? For taking off his forearms the first thing I advise is to make sure that you're getting a hold of it up at the area right below the elbow because of how it's articulated at that spot. Right beneath the swivel-hinge peg that you want to pull out there's an angled swivel cut and you want to be holding onto that angled swivel or else you might pull that part off instead. The peg that you're pulling out is also a decent length so I lightly turned it while pulling, almost like unscrewing a light-bulb. To get the collar piece on his neck you don't actually have to take his head off, it opens up at the front where the chain connects to it (you can see the hinge-pin on the other side). When opening it though the chain will probably slip off of the peg but you can just pick it up and slide it back on before closing the collar again. For his wrist shackles first you want to check that you're using the right forearm pieces, make sure you've got the ones without the fins on the wrist area and then pop off his hands and slide the shackles over his wrists then put his hands back on. I did notice that the padlocks on mine for the arm chains were a bit stuck in place but I think it might just be the tightness of the fit for those locks compared to the space afforded the neck one.
