I'm pretty excited about my pick-ups this week

My Amazon-exclusive Silk and Doc Ock showed up a couple months earlier than expected.



I ordered this limited edition, Previews-exclusive, slip-covered version of Alex Ross' "Fantastic Four: Full Circle" from my LCS, and it showed up this week !



On the opposite end of the comic art spectrum, lol, while picking up my F4 graphic novel and my weekly comics, I picked up an un-opened copy of this 90's gem.
Yep, that's Rob Liefeld's signature at the top, LOL

Got the Deluxe Spawn figure in the mail this week. It's a great figure now I can show off the Spawn figures I have from McFarlane's current Spawn wave, I love all of them. I effectively have the Scorched roster almost complete waiting for McFarlane to announce the Medieval Spawn to complete the line-up.

Just for scale comparison, I pulled out the Spawn figure I have from the 1990s line that I found as a loose figure at Vintage Stock. It was missing its cape and accessories so I removed the cape from this Spawn for comparison. Honestly, I like the fact that Spawn figures have removable capes. I just wish when people resell figures they'd gather the accessories and whatnot before reselling them.

This Spawn is much taller than the old Spawn figure. It's two scales taller and it offers much more articulation than the 90s figure. I would like a Spawn figure with that design in the current wave, the red gloves Spawn is my favorite design for the character. Maybe just make the classic Spawn a standard figure with a few weapons for accessories and a longer cape.

My Pile of Loot arrived along with Walmart Mando exclusive EWEB. Excited for everything that arrived but the Dark Troopers are the stars of the shipment. These are amazing figures. Wish the eye lit up. The Catwoman unmasked head is amazing. I hope we see more Batman the Animated series figures.
Firelord is a great use of existing parts with a new head and his staff.

I went to a local mall to check out a Labor Day sale at the new EntertainMART that opened there and found some neat stuff.

I got the Leader from the Marvel Legends line at a 33% discount because it was used.

That's great you were able to find at your mall, all the cool shops having been closing for awhile at my local mall, even our GameStop closed up during the pandemic

That's unfortunate that shops at your local mall have been closing down, I hate that we had a pandemic that detrimental to the global economy. I learned about the EntertainMART that opened because I was selling & buying stuff at a Vintage Stock and I overheard people at the counter talking about the new EntertainMART location. EntertainMART and Vintage Stock are part of the same business chain.

I got the DC Multiverse Grifter figure today and I must say it's a cool figure. Since WB won't allow DC Multiverse figures to come with guns I gave the Grifter Soul Crusher's guns and it's a pretty good match. The sword and dagger Grifter comes with are pretty cool too. Since Grifter is a Wildstorm character he is both an Image character and a DC character in my book, so he gets to hang with both universes.
