argh! it's still broken! I have more Star Wars figures to share, too!
as you can see with my haul pics from this week:
Ultimate Spider-Man Super Strength Green Goblin

Metallic Force MMPR White Ranger...but I'll probably return or sell if someone needs him. He looks like he has a tiny head

PRMF Ultra Blue Ranger (finally! My set is complete!)

Thor Dark World Dark Elf

Star Wars Movie Heroes Super Battle Droid

And also some VINTAGE COLLECTION Star Wars figures that are just as cheap as the Saga Legends

Got some figures this weekend. I admit I wasn't going to get the new TMNT movie figures, and even talked about how bad they looked on here :P But after seeing them in the store, they really aren't too bad in person. So after sorting through some with either bad paint, or bent/ripped packages, I put together all 9. My son also got A Blackbeard figure that was on clearance for 1.24 and a little Lego bag. Big hall for me all at once!

^I should add that after checking the receipt for the Turtles, they didn't charge me for one of them. I didn't notice it until I got back home. So I guess it was buy 8 get 1 free :P

I'm not sure which is uglier, those turtle toys or those designs. Oh, at least they captured Megan's acting range perfectly in the toy.

Riddle me this...I found this AOE 1 Step Stinger at Target this afternoon...It's a Walmart exclusive...Of course, it didn't ring up in Target's system, so the clerk put it through at $5 without saying anything!!! Winning. Is he even supposed to be available yet?

I hope we get a DELUXE Stinger! Maybe I'll go to Target tomorrow to get one of these, too, until the Deluxe one comes...it's sexy as well.

Holy Crap!! That is fantastic. I am only missing the Log from the fan club Tin set, Civil War Log I believe, I just can't pay what people want for it. I can not imagine what Visible Log cost you.

Could possibly be a return that was brought back without a receipt. I recall this happening back in the day when Marvel Legends were mostly Walmart Exclusives. I remember actually finding my yellow suited Daredevil (from the Nemesis BAF wave) at Toys R Us. It too wouldn't ring out, and I ended up getting the figure for a lesser price ($9.99 I think.)

Hope everyone is having a great Independence Day weekend....

I got lucky and finally spotted this little fella on my way home from work at Target. Despite the propensity for his legs to easily come off (which I will probably glue or nail polish in the near future) Slash here has quickly become one of my favorites of the new Dinobots.

And finally, I told myself that I would never submit to collecting this line (not because it was bad, but more, to keep myself grounded...lol) I finally ended up submitting to it, picking up the reboot of one of my favorite action figures all time as a kid. My very first MOTUC figure...Rattlor!

The Snake Men were always my favorite He-Man characters when I was younger, so, I'll probably just end up picking up King Hssss and his followers and calling it a day. (Although Kobra Khan's prices scare me. Hopefully Tung Lashor is coming soon!) I have just one question though to those who collect MOTUC figures...

How do you muster the courage to open these guys up, when they look so good in the packaging? I say this because I so badly wanna open this guy, yet at the same time, the packaging is pretty awesome, and he looks so great in the box!!!

The April figure is definitely the worst of the worst. I am getting a little used to the turtles themselves. And the figures in person are not as big as I thought they would be, which is a good thing to me.

I do it the hard way. I have every figure in the MOTU classics still in package or on card. I have bought doubles of the characters I like so I could open one up. I don't like or want some characters loose, so I keep them on card. MOTU classics are the ONLY line I buy with the intention of leaving on card.

It wasn't pretty but I HAD to. I saw the collectors club ren with the civil war log on ebay about a month ago and I totally forgot to bid on it. It sold for $26.00 and I am still kicking myself for it.
I am still planning on making one on my own, I started sculpting them recently before I got the bug to finish off the collection.
These are the first three test runs... I still have more work to do before I am happy with them.

Does Rattlor actually rattle like the original figure?

He does actually. It's not as noticeable as the original figure, which had a hollow upper body torso that rattled rather loudly. The MOTUC Rattlor has a tiny rattle that is now placed inside the tip of his tail. It's not as loud as the original, but it can be heard. Pretty awesome that they managed to do that.

Ugh....that's brutal. With as much as these guys go for (I paid almost $40.00 for Rattlor), I highly doubt that I'll be following suit with that. While I understand why Mattel did the packaging in paying homage to the original packaging, I really wish that they would have done these guys with a reusable clam shell. I know I'm late to the party with MOTUC in saying this, but the whole presentation is really spectacular! It's gonna be hard stopping with just the Snake Men!

Yeah, pretty brutal, but not as bad as you might think. I made that decision 5 years back when the line started, so I have hardly ever payed more than regular price for one of the figures. It really only hurt in the butt last year when I got 2 Castle Greyskull, but no way was I going to not open that playset. For the last 3 years I have just signed up for 2 Subscriptions and sold off the doubles I did not want.

I still have a Mr Horse and Ren figure signed by Billy West. I got them at a Wizard World Chicago con many years ago back in 04 I think, back when the figures just came out. He was doing signings at the Palisades booth for the toy line. I miss a lot of the old Palisades figures.
