If you go back to the artwork in the Death of Superman comic story , Doomsdays size kinda changes with the different artist from being about a foot taller than superman to around 4-5 feet taller. Some angles in the issues he looks on par with Supes and others he towers over him. I have always been in the camp that Doomsday is about 10 feet tall to Superman's average 6 feet. So I am just fine with the figure. Some have said they think the Doomsday figures (Bound and Unleashed) are too big. I can see the argument if you look at the original artwork.

Yeah, but also, the bound DD never had a set design. Some panels had him with more detail than others.

Other than the cloak is there any difference between this one and Halo 4 Chief?

That said...I think Doomsday has a good size too him. Not too big...not too small. He looks just right. Scored this today at TRU for only $15 bucks, as all Kreo's were on sale for 1/2 off the listed price (so, half off of it's $30 dollar clearance price.) Been a long time since I've been rewarded so well for being so patient, and I'm super stoked to finally have my Kreo H.I.S.S. Tank!!! ![]() Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 12-07-2014 at 09:18 PM.. |

As the Xmas money begins to come in I've decided to try and pick up some older ML I've wanted for so long. 1st up is a better Punisher than what I had previously. Some Toy biz Legends still hold up so well and this one is one of them, the series 4 Punisher.

They were in the back I think. Try calling ahead with the "R" web# 266727. The manager was cool enough to do some type of override and sell it before tomorrow.

Pretty excited about what I received today:
Also stopped by Best Buy and got my brother the Guardians of the Galaxy steelbook set. I'm still holding out for a complete Phase 2 collector's bundle myself, but man, this was tempting. |

Took advantage of Walgreens TWD sale and got my collection off to an awesome, A list start
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also got the RV Zombie but never took a picture. Love these! They are not as fragile as I thought they would be and I got pretty lucky with the paint apps. $10 a pop too, such a great deal. |

Good score, I am not into TWD figures myself. I also assumed they were fragile just looking at them in various stores.

Daryl's motorcycle, while an excellent looking piece, is also really light and has a fragile feeling to it. It's not something that I would be comfortable putting on a high shelf as I'm sure it wouldn't survive the fall. That said...this new wave is probably the last of the figures that I'll be getting for the line outside of new future zombies, as the Rick looks great, and I'm happy to finally get Carol and Hershel. |

Unless McFarlane has fixed some of the issues from previous figures with the newer series, many of the Walking Dead figures are pretty fragile and should be handled with care. On my figure of the Governor for example, the peg inside the interchangeable head snapped right off within seconds of taking him out of the package as I attempted to swap it out for the eyepatched version. My Carl figure also had issues with his dainty wrists, as did Michonne's pet zombies (the pegs supporting the arms and the head is very thin and weak, I was scared ****less trying to remove the chain around their necks.)

Those are the only ones that have ever been iffy, though, and I own a good number of these things and have posed them quite a bit. So, I'd say McFarlane's track record is actually great, but be wary of interchangeable parts. I've been pretty impressed, actually. Agreed about this wave, too. Rick and Carol are must-haves, but... I think I'm done with human characters after them. Unless they make a better articulated Shane that actually looks like John Bernthal, but I think that ship has sailed. |

^wile McFarlane's at it they really need some QC on the blind packed "building toy" TWD figures! I got a Daryl, with broken hand/crossbow, an eaten corpse, with walker... minus a head, and Michonne, minus sword arm! I was really considering getting into that series, but so far it's all been bad luck for me.
