I hear you. I think my main issue with him was that I hated hearing Julian McMahon's stupid voice coming out of Doom's mask. I'm sorry, and no offense to the actor, but that is NOT what Doom should sound like.

the one thing I always wondered is what would or should he sound like?would the mask give him a robotic tone?

yeah seriously, I thought Doom was supposed to have a European accent. Thats how i hear it when i read the panels in comics. Those FF movies were terrible, and Albas acting was atrocius.

this too^though as big as a fan of Doom as I am I always pictured him having a Vader type tone,perhaps due to the mask though,which would obscure the accent imo.

I dont think so- I think with Doom's ego, he'd want his own commanding voice t be heard- and the Doombots have it synthisized, of course.

Besides, I think he'd need the real voice for certain spells- it's gotta be genuine!

I think he'd have a deep, but raspy, voice after all the shit he's been through. He's rocking in Thunderbolts this month- they're actually explaining how he was not killed back in Millar's super-terrible Masters of Doom storyline.

I thought he was only in the one issue last month when he was rescued from that shark thing?is he in another thunderbolts issue this month?

Its Victor Von Doom, he is not american for one!!!!!! His mother was a gypsy witch, he should have a deep voice with an accent of german or romanian with a hint of robotic sound...just what i think.
