I've seen the spiderman line restocked numerous times but no SS Venom. Rhino, Carnage, TB Venom and plenty of Hobgoblin.

Yeah in my neck of the woods SS Venom is non existant, through a few restocks. No Shocker either. I picked up a Lizard, but feel he may be a tad too tall. I may strip the good parts off him and make a slightly shorter custom for my shelf. Rhinos and Doc Ocks make up the majority of the Villains in my areas Spiderman assortments. The villains are woefully outnumbered by the hordes of off the wall Spiderman variants......... |

I've never seen SS venom at retail, but I dont understand why everyone wants it. I like the other one so much better. In my eyes it looks waaayyy better, the SS one is to short and buff. I feel the toxic strike (or whatever the hell they call him) is the most accurate version. SS I suppose has a different look but as far as displaying with other MU charcters, I don't think he looks good or fits in at all

				 | Quote: I like the heft that SS Venom has. The Spiderman line of 3 3/4 figs is a bit of a let down overall. But the line shines when they come out with a their hefty villains, Rhino, Lizard, and SS Venom don't disappoint) |

I never bought toxic blast because of the knee problem, why make such a cool figure and screw it up with no knee articulation?

Your not alone here. I like the paint apps on ss venom but they should of made the grey more black. The purple is cool since the mu dark spiderman is purple and black. I actually think the paint apps on mu dark spiderman is great and ss venom should have been done this way. I like both versions of venom but I'd like to add my two cents, toxic blast should have knees and ss should have a scorpion tail attachment instead of the arm thing he has. SS should also be purple and black. |

Wow looking through the wave lists, some of them were majority X-Men character related. Wave 6, 8, 10, 13 is all X-Men, 16 and a little of 17. Seems like every other wave there was an X-Men character. Pretty Awesome =)

I don't have a side by side..but..if you aren't a collector of the complete line...wait 6 months or so..the next punisher is leaps and bounds better than both of the others.
