I spend a ton of money on comics anyway, and I'd probably save money if I got a digital subscription, and I bet I could sell Doom to some MU completist and get my subscription for free with enough left over for a delicious sandwhich.

I like getting the actual issues in my grubby little hands...but I would get a kick outta this figure if I went down the digital road.

I find the outrage some people have shown to be pretty amusing ..I mean c'mon..Debbie Downers..lighten up.

I'm with those who think this is good for Doom fans and others who like one-offs for exclusives. Much better choice than X-Force AA. Also, more work involved than AA too (at least with the figure).

Here's hoping.
You need to re-register with a new email address so that you are a "new" customer.

How scammy is that, right? If yuo re-up, they should reward loyalty and send you the new figure- it costs them maybe $5 make one, and the digital comics literally cost them nothing.

KINDA OFF TOPIC BUT ALL YOU DOOMAHOLICS BEST BE READING

Avengers Childrens Crusade. Doom plays a big part of it and in the most recent issue he got all the power that the Scarlet Witch was harnessing when she created House of M turns out it was linked to the life force or something. Either way they totally fucked up here major missed oppurtunity Doom get's a white man skirt gold lining on his cape and his armor is super shiny and he's all man handsome.

FUCKIN UP HASBRO

I wasn't even looking for it on ebay, I was looking what was out there in ebay marvel universe variant land and I came across it.

you know I would be willing to spend 80$ for it only because I need it for my collection but not 200$. I know even 80$ is steep, but I don't want to pay 60$ for comics and then be bound to a year sub and then find out that the following year I have to be a new customer to get the free prize..

200$... wow... ain't gonna happen!

Actually I think it's worse than that. You have to be logged in online to read them. You can't download anything. If you could download them in PDF or anything else I would have gladly signed up.

They are NOT in PDF format- you have to be logged n at Marvel to view the content- no downloading an issue and re-reading it whenever you want.

It's the comic book version of watching streaming video.

Which sucks on ice.

I got 11 figures in trade for my X-Force Archangel. And with the subscription, for the $50 or so it costs, I've already read about $1500 worth of comics based on cover prices.

Yeah, I don't know what I'm waiting for.

I planned on jumping to digital when DC's new 52 dropped, but it just hasn't happened yet.

So, you like it though? Its not too weird or anything?
