A Target exclusive that turned into a pegwarmer after an initial period of outrage? Say it isn't so!

At least the US Agent figure had a TV show behind it (that's called Toy Selling 101). Not really the same as lesser known X-Men B-Crew characters.

Oh, by the way, after nearly two years the 90's inspired Havok and Polaris set with trading cards on the back is still readily available at some online retailers. Not really hard to understand why this X-Force one is also getting the same treatment.

I never said I wasn't buying it Jester (I am), but those characters are what they are. The comment was more about dumping on people like Harbinger who are always finding an excuse to be mad at Hasbro (but crawl back to them on hands & knees anyway).

Instead of saying "Wow, the other guys can't even make a proper Justice League but here's Hasbro scraping the bottom of Rob Liefeld's trash can to continue putting together X-Force" we get "why isn't this sold where I want it to be sold?"

Pretty sad.

That's why they should just release them single and not in these stupid 2 or 3 packs.

I usually wind up buying them on Ebay loose so I can get the figure I want and not have to pay for one or two other figures I don't want.

There might be a show behind them, but nobody wants a figure of Alt Right Cap it seems. Although when I was in Disney World a month ago it was ALL pegwarming Captain Falcons with a couple of pegwarming Nazi Caps.

Not a huge fan of multi-packs myself but it does help get very obscure characters out there.

I think what I meant by the TV show thing was the old school mentality that the show helps generate sales. I wasn't going to waste my time watching Falcon & WS (apparently as it went on no one else did either) but Hasbro probably thinks those figures have a better chance of selling than Rictor.

So the "Pulse Exclusive" figures are only available for pre-order by "Premium" Pulse members right now? Didn't read anywhere that that would be the case with these pre-orders. That's pretty lame on Hasbro's part. I was all set to order a few of the Pulse exclusive FF variants but then got stopped and smacked in the face by Hasbro themselves.... I should have seen it coming...

I did not expect Mr. Fantastic to sell out first on Pulse. Guess people really want the lab coat accessory?

Hasbro could make easy money on straight accessory kits, of multiple types. Trench coats, lab coats, bare arms, generic heads…weapons.

I don’t get why they haven’t tried to capitalize on the customization market.

Probably because if they did that, they'd be accused of wasting time making a bunch of generic stuff instead of more new figures.

But as it is, I think between the army builders and releases like Reed and Moira they are thinking more about all of that stuff.

Anyway, I got my preorders in for all of it earlier. Even went for Psycho Man even though I originally wasn't really thinking I wanted him, but I figured why not?

True, but how easy is it to pop some extra heads, arms, coats and guns out….no assembly required. I just need to break down and get. 3D printer.

We've been calling for accessory packs for years now, there have even been break out threads on the topic. Hands, fists, effects, heads, weapons, thrones, etc. If they elect to do it, it's a result of the steady drumbeat, not some epiphany on Hasbro's part.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the clarification.

Seems like it's completely the opposite up here in Canada. Plenty of Captain Falcons and Winter Soldiers to be had, but Best Captain America (or the good Baron, for that matter) is nowhere to be found. Hell, I even went to the extent of pre-ordering both versions, and the regular black costume one was canceled due to stock selling through too quickly while the blue one is currently in limbo for likely the same reason.

Idk if it’s been mentioned, but they’re letting non-premium pre-orders go through now.

They always do. Stuff rarely sells out during the Premium only window and goes up for sale for everyone. (I mean, as it should, that's the entire point of there being a "Premium" membership in the first place to get first dibs.)
