Pretty sure he made a custom for someone already. To do it youself you need the figure which is less the $20 and red.blue.white.silver paint, and either a small star or sculpt 1, less then $10-15, but the time to do it all is where the extra costs come in and if it's 5hrs work $10/hr, plus costs etc, can be a $100 custom, doesn't mean I'd pay that, but could be.

It's kindof left at the customizer's descretion. Heck Ive seen some people charge a couple hundred dollars for a custom fig. I with you doesn't mean I'd pay that. I customize my own fig before I pay that much.

Word... personally I've seen custom figures sell for $500-1000+ some of Jin's customs like his most recent deadpool went for a crazy amount of $$, factor in it's 1 of a kind, all the cost in parts, paint, time and effort it's worth a lot more then retail, but the question is how much more. That's why I like him he starts all his auctions at $1 and lets the public decide (collectors) what it's truely worth. I've seen "customs" which were purely a simple headswap sell for big bucks. The customs out there that have a buy it now or starting price at $1-300+ annoy me, unless the figure itself is extemely rare, like the custom ML Dragonman figures I see listed time to time.

This is a perfect example, custom ML Captain America figure which sold for nearly $900! amazing work, but is it really worth that? starting bid was a $1

Yea that Cap is pretty awesome but $900. It's not a hard custom at all to do.But I guess some people don't have the skill or time to do it and there comes the customizer that have the time...mix in people that like the figure and bam $900. It's hard to believe that went for that much. I've seen better customs go for far less. Well can't hate the game I guess.

I picked up the three ASM Legends last night. Ultimate spidey is pretty cool, a bit over muscled for a preteen. Is that the body from Tarantula? Looks familiar. I'm going to make him less buff some how. The head is great though.

I haven't opened the two movie figures yet but I like the way Lizard looks with the soft goods lab coat from Ultimate Lizard as I have seen a few folks do. And of course.....reptile sidekicks!

The movie Spidey headsculpt looks kind of off to me, he was the one I was going to leave behind but I have a cool idea for a custom so I grabbed him.

All in all I'm happy with them, only opened Miles so far but a fair purchase. They were $15.98 at my WalMart, is this the going rate for WalMart Marvel Legends now?

Also acquired another Sentinel through an Arker, so my army is growing....
