Hasbro, you guys made a mostly correct Tarantula already with a black cowl. How did you mess this Anton up and give him a blue mask?
I'm baffled by why they did this... it's like they never actually looked at more than one picture - his non red bits should either all be blue with black cell shading, or just all be black. It's like when they released Vulture with an alternate 'cowled' head, but rather than have the face of Blackie Drago' - the only one who wore the cowl - they just had another Toomes face.

Also a little surprised they didn't show the previously announced Hyperion and Doctor Spectrum...

Yeah, it only makes sense if they did what you claim and didn’t do too much homework. I get them occasionally being confused about inking/coloring, but I would hope the production team has a liaison at Marvel to run simple questions by. This could have been cleared up with an email – “that’s a technique in coloring and inking, but the highlights on Tarantula's costume should either be…” Companies that are in business with each other generally tend to communicate with one another, but that doesn’t appear to be happening here.

They did the same thing with the new Power Man. I’ll cut them some slack on that because there seemed to be some confusion with the original colorist in that Cage initially had black pants/tights and a black boots with yellow cuffs. However, as discussed, Hasbro made a Tarantula in 2008 with a solid black cowl making this gaffe perplexing.

Still getting the Tarantula figure. I’ll just paint his mask in black, but they might just fix that by painting it black in production anyway. It should be an easy fix on their part. There have been maybe only two Tarantula figures so far? So I’m glad he’s being made.

I’m not seeing the difference in the new Carnage and the previous Carnage. Looks like a repackage? I passed on it due to getting the Mafex Carnage, so maybe I’m missing details.

Me too, I just don't understand why they make such obvious mistakes. It's like they just need one person who knows the source to give things the once over before saying 'go' and they just don't have that.

This is the first Carnage on the Sunfire body. The previous one (2020) was on an entirely-new sculpt that actually sculpted on all the sinew and whatnot, and the one prior to that (2018) was a mostly-rerelease of the 2014 one that was on the Bucky Cap body.

Ok. Thanks. Casual glance it looks like the non-swirly one from a few years ago. Might give it a look over if I find it on a peg. My 5yr old Nephew is addicted to Marvel Legends Spiderman stuff now.

Guess no one’s coming here at this point. Thought Doc Ock’s new arms were supposed to be backwards compatible, found that they really aren’t. Anyone else find this?
