The high cost of oil? lol. I think people just aren't patient enough. One thing I can always count on up here is that we get plenty of the comic packs eventually.

Considering you're still dragging this on 10 posts later when everyone else has decided to let it fizzle, I think that says a lot about you but then you're clearly one of those people who love going around psychoanalysing people to try to prove how high your EQ is, but I don't think anyone's impressed. If that's what you want to think. You've got me figured out for sure. Never mind that you starting by trying to insult me for no reason at all. You're right, I should just let you run things like the white knight you are. Next time just admit you were being an ass and move on. I've got no problem admitting I'm being an ass to you right now, but you have kind of earned it.

Will you cut that out already and quit being a clown? I tried being "friendly" with you in the other thread, but now you're just pissing me off and we're probably pissing everyone else off with this crap. Let's just agree that you overreacted with the other guy and came across as mean, I overreacted to your reaction and came across as mean and now we're just arguing about nothing.

You are right that we should probably cut out as it's getting nowhere. Yes, I was just poking back at you for the yell of it but I doubt you could blame me. I am not going to say I was being mean because I just wasn't. It was a honest and reasonable assessment of what he and others said. I'm actually a very nice guy but I don't hesitate to tell it like I see it. If the guy couldn't handle the comments that others made about his post then he would have major problems in the real world because no one was really mean to the guy. It's the kind of stuff you would even say to your friends if they said something like he had, calling them out and getting to the bottom of the issue. It just confuses me that you can't see that. Anyway, why don't we PM about it and be friends?

I don't think it's any more likely that I'd admit to much wrong than you are to admit to any wrong doing. I doubt the guy is going to start cutting himself, but he's probably thinking twice about posting on here again and that's my major gripe. I want everyone to feel welcome on here, especially new people, and I don't think we appeared all that welcoming and I'm not afraid to say that. Anyway, that's just me.

You are right, everyone should feel welcomed new or otherwise. He didn't post much before so I doubt he will start now but I think he would be smart enough to realize why he got the reaction he did and know that nobody here is going to crap on everything he says. He's been around the forum (to some degree) for a fair bit so hopefully he isn't scared off. I think you and I were probably more scary than anything else going on in the thread.

I think people may be jumping the gun a little because Hasbro has been known to bail on previously announced figures. It sucks, but it creates unease when no one overseas has gotten them and the online retailers have no preorders up. But its such a popular line I can't see them cancelling it. It's sadly on the back burner, but that's just my best guess...

its $50 cuz people cant wait for them, In my area DD/BE 2 packs are finally hitting TRU/Walmart/Target for $15. Before that they were going for like $30 online.

Just wait my friend, in a few months the sinister/gambit 2 pack will hit the stores for $15 as well. Dont shell out $50 for a terrible gambit figure and a colossus repaint.

I was offering the Gambit/Sinister set for the price I found them for ($23) and it took forever for anyone to bite. Symbiote ended up with them, smart guy if you ask me because they're crazy expensive now.

I would pay that price for one. Then again they cost $18.99 at retail here and $24.99 at most LCBS.

The Sinister/Gambit CP seems to be more in demand than the Thanos/Adam Warlock set though... even at my LCS when they first came out everybody only bought the Gambit CP. I thought for sure the Adam Warlock CP would have been more popular. Weird.

hahaha yeah i remember thinking, "oh i'll just wait till they rerelease or remake him as a single card!" and then later thinking, "OH, well, at he's gonna be in the avengers light up base series. awesome! maybe he'll be painted nicer" ......... =\

always forget how uncertain things can be with hasbro.
