Because Matty said none of the 2012 figures are going to be re-issued. It cost me $125 for Fisto & Sorceress MOC combined.

You could have easily gotten twice that... There's never more than 3-4 listed on ebay at a time. Seems to be pretty scarce.

Interesting. But it's odd that Sorceress seems to be appearing a fair bit and isn't as expensive as Fisto. He's fairly recent but already stupidly expensive. I didn't know he was going to turn out to be rare. Annoying...

I think there was also a QC issue with Fisto. He was packaged missing one of his accessories: head, sword, or belt. So a lot of them were sent back. People also bought multiples because of the extra 200X parts to display him both ways. As for Mattel not making him or any 2012 fig who knows for now. If people create enough of an uproar, Matty might cave in.

There's only 5 reg version Sorceresses on ebay right now. $100 and up. One is up for auction with 19 bids and its already at $65.

I'm mad at myself.....these were the top three MOTUCs for me this year to get and I Epic Failed at getting them. Not only did I sleep in till 1pm because I was up till 7am playing Black Ops2 ....but my CC is maxed out so I couldn't even place my order. In Dire need of a job at this point, going to finally start selling some of my toys, dvd's, books, electronics, clothing, etc....lots of stuff has got to go. I passed on the dragon and just got a Mosquitor. I'll probably regret passing on him at some point, but I had to make an executive decision. That's probably the only thing I haven't bought that I wanted since Sept.

One of the reasons Fisto is valued so high right now is because he was a huge fan favorite. Put that together with what DHeezy said about what we were told by Matty as far as newer figures not getting reissues (too early to see if that's true), and you have people yearning for that figure that much more.

I wish I had a Filmation Sorceress. TOD version is fine and all, but Filmation MOTU is where it was at.

I sent them a nice email telling them that if I have to do it again in Jan, I'm going to cancel the card my subscriptions are attached to.
