Dayum! That's way too much for a basic 1/64th HW car, even factoring in the USD/AUD exchange rate. The most I've ever paid for one at retail was $1.15 USD.

I have a few more assortment to display. This next one is a random assortment that includes Kroger-exclusive Hot Wheels Halloween vehicles, Maisto Marvel cars, "Cars" versions of Toy Story's Buzz and Woody, and a couple of Bats that are from a line of Matchbox aircrafts. They're a little bigger than the mainline Bats, but slightly smaller than the 1:50 ones.



Oh yeah, that purple Batmobile was a 2012 Halloween exclusive. I'm still angry I didn't find the Ecto-1 re-deco, but I didn't even realize these existed until late October (of 2012), and by then they were all gone. I was lucky to find that single Batmobile

I posted pics of the Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment BSG Cylon Raiders a while ago, but here they are alongside my Retro Entertainment BSG Vipers. I even included the BSG ships that Hasbro brilliantly included in their Star Wars Titanium series, for the sake of comparison.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot, for those of you who collect the Retro Entertainment line, I just spotted the new wave at a couple of Wal-Marts today. I saw The Enterprise, The Flintmobile, the Dodge Challenger from Fast & Furious, and the Dodge Power Wagon from Simon & Simon; strangely, all of them except for the Love Bug

I had considered getting The Enterprise, but the improvement in quality (from the mainline version to the Retro Ent. version) wasn't great enough to justify the $5 price, in my opinion.

Basic HW cars cost SGD$3.90, which is about $3.09 USD. For every car I buy here, could have bought 3 in USA. Dang.

i have a wooden shelf in the opposite corner of my room from where my 12 foot main display shelf is. they all fit on one shelf, but not for long lol. i took 'em off the shelf cause you can only see the front row when displayed cause the cars go seven deep.
