The Multiverse line basically became a completely 6-inch line in 2016. These figures are 6-inch scale.

that's when they were doing 3.75 figures. that line has long been cancelled.

and they did the same with the bvs basic figures. put them in different packaging.

The new Justice League Action that came out int he last month are 4.5" scale. it would be nice if they did movie figures at that size.

I saw these figures in a Target in Maine yesterday. The store was doing its seasonal reset.

Anyone else bummed that GL isn't in the movie? I get that the movie bombed but Hal or John (I'd prefer Hal though) should be a founding member of the League man.

or maybe he is and they're just keeping it under wraps? a cameo at the end where he(prefer hal as well) joins them would be cool.

I'm fully expecting a tease or cameo at the end but I'm talking about actually being in the movie and fighting off the invasion.

him joining them during the fight is a possibility too. though it'd be kinda weird if he just came out of nowhere. but hey I won't complain.

I feel like if Green Lantern shows up in Justice League it will be Abin Sur. I expect him to get killed by Steppenwolf and then the last thing we see is the ring find Hal Jordan.

Why no Parademons?
The Parademon is in series 2 with shirtless and shoeless Aquaman, Mera, and I think another Batman version.

Darkseid will most likely only be a cameo. He is the villain of the next JL movie. ( presumably after Steppenwolf fails to conquer earth)

I really want to like these, but so much key POA are missing. The sculpts look nice, but the faces also need work.

Wouldn't an angry face work better for most of these guys? Instead we have no expressions.

Maybe you are right, I do not really read spoilers, but they can still build to Darkseid. Maybe go with Darkseid minions and maybe a return Luthor and so on. I hope they don't pull an X-Men Apocalypse, and Apocalypse Darkseid into this terrible movie villain that is wasted.

DCU wasted Doomsday already and used that bullet. Doomsday could've been a build up and be a separate movie.

Despite there being so many figures, according to the videos of interviews with Mattel at SDCC, all the other figures will be store exclusives:
  • Mera
  • Parademon
  • Shirtless Aquaman
  • "Regular" Batman
  • Cyborg with mask/helmet

Yeah, pretty much a whole second wave and they're all store exclusives. That's Matty for you.

yes, the first "Multiverse" labeled line years ago was 3.75", but these are 6". The 6" multiverse figures are in the same red box packaging as ever. The child-focused figures on the grey Justice League cards are 6" also, just like the kids BvS figures last year.

I saw them yesterday, WW is still nice but I have the TRU version already, I think Cyborg looks like garbage (in the footage shown so far and the figure), Flash and possibly Aquaman are the only two that I might be interested in.

Well , look like we will have to wait a few years for JL 2 before we get the Darkseid BAF

The figures look good imo. Not great, but good for the twenty dollar price tag. Especially with most of them being all new tooling. Only thing I wish they would do is add an ab crunch to Superman. Out of all of them he needs it the most, and while I have passed on all the previous releases, many people have not.

Same thing goes for Wonder Woman. I'm not sure exactly what I would have them do with her, but something to further differentiate her from previous releases would be great. The lasso would have been nice, but it's still just looped up like it's on her hip.

Would help if some of these characters were getting new costumes in the movies, like Batman and Aquaman. Not necessarily for each new movie they're in, but periodically updating their gear. Superman especially needs some new digs, and should have had a new suit this movie. His body healing after the end of BvS can be explained, but his suit magically heals itself too?

The other figures revealed being store exclusives kinda makes sense. Three of the five are alternate versions of the main figures and Mera isn't exactly a must-have imo. That said, I hope the Parademon is an easy one to get ahold of. I don't usually army build, but I kinda want to get at least two of them. Maybe even a third to paint as a leader parademon.
