Can't wait to pick up the 6 inch Multiverse figures, it's simple, and exactly what I wanted. 6 members of the Justice League, and Steppenwolf. Very exciting.

CasualCollector 07-18-2017 05:00 AM

The Superman headsculpt looks like a huge improvement over the promo stuff. This is a nice looking set.

Pravus Prime 07-18-2017 06:11 AM

Does Aquaman have thigh swivels? There's no doubt we've got some changes from the first looks, Batman most obviously, but also looks like Superman got a new headsculpt, and Cyborg lost some paint apps (and despite earlier labels, doesn't seem to come with the armored head either).

At 19.99 I'm going to pass on them, but with a good enough sale, I could become interested at a later point. If TRU does a promo like they've done before, I'd pick up Superman and someone else to get the free ticket.

Zorn88 07-18-2017 08:01 AM

I'm quite excited for this set. Though I have yet to see any King Shark figures. Not one.

snake5289 07-18-2017 09:38 AM

Just Aquaman for me thanks.

Too bad these are almost like 6" inversions of the 3.75 marvel universe figs that are currently being made. At least the croc wave had articulation. Looks like dc is going to reduced artic too. Sad.

305Batman 07-18-2017 09:55 AM

If only Mattel would step out of the articulation Stone Age!!!

Unhinged1983 07-18-2017 11:53 AM

I'll grab the Wonder Woman... Maybe Batman and The Flash too.

Will 07-18-2017 12:34 PM

Those are really 4 inch?
I would. be really happy if they really are

No these are not 4 inches. All DC Multiverse figures are 6 inch scale.

scarecrow 07-18-2017 03:59 PM

I'll stick to a high-end Bats figure from this movie, and pass on the Mattel stuff. These just don't look that great. How they produce such subpar figures year in and year out, while Hasbro kills it, is still beyond me.

thewriteguy 07-18-2017 04:37 PM

The four figures in the first photo are NOT 4". They are 6". (Go to the ebay auction listing for them, and the seller lists them as 6".) This Toyark news entry should be corrected.

En Sabah Nerd 07-18-2017 05:41 PM

Oh hey it's the same Wonder Woman I just got a couple of weeks ago at TRU but now she has Steppenwolf's arm instead of Ares' shield. If there are actually any differences between this figure and that one please enlighten me because they look the same to me.

EvilMonkeyPope 07-18-2017 08:53 PM

I finally realized Steppenwolf is the villain in Justice League because Zack Snyder has a special axe collection!
Why no Parademons?

Il Cattivo 07-18-2017 09:06 PM

why you gotta be so cruel and mess with us 4" collectors toyark???:cry

Dr Kain 07-18-2017 09:41 PM

I'm surprised Darkseid isn't the BAF, but whatever. Steppenwolf will probably be as generically monotone in color as the rest of the universe.

Why si Superman there? SPOILERS!!!

Why no villains?

Do you think Mattel will final update... nevermind.

Different sword and the ankle pins are red instead of gold.
Also, doesn't include Wonder Woman's shield. And the lasso is placed as an accessory to make up for it, I suppose.
(I just got the TRU exclusive yesterday)

Thanks for pointing out the actual differences, the only one I noticed was the lack of shield. To be honest I only picked up the TRU one because it was on sale and I didn't want to pass on the deal, I typically don't get Mattel stuff.

Jeddostotle7 07-19-2017 01:29 AM

As others are saying, those aren't 4" Multiverse figures, those are 6" normal line (entirely kid-oriented) figures.

Ravenxl7 07-19-2017 01:35 AM

Was initially excited by the mention of 4" figures (easier to work more figures into a display), but those carded figures are definitely the 5"/6" basic figures. We saw th Batman and Wonder Woman figures in videos released alongside the initial reveal of the Multiverse figures.

The Multiverse figures still look good. This Batman definitely looks a bit better than the one first shown. Steppenwolf looks good, and is what i was expecting/hoping would be the C&C. Might be worth completing.

Should be interesting to see what optional/additional piece they release with the non-armored Batman figure, likely as a TRU exclusive.

Edit: Is it me, or does it look like Cyborg's chest opens up?

Will 07-20-2017 01:15 PM

If we want an 3.75/4 inch line from Mattel we have to send messages to them. I've play my part, you can send a message, the link to contact them is below

As long as people keep buying these turds, they won't bother changing anything!

suprdave71 07-20-2017 01:42 PM

I'm seriously bummed that Mattel isn't releasing a 4" line of figures for the biggest DC movie of all time. Not surprised, but bummed. I'll have to figure out a way to customize my own team.

Nope, IIRC Zod, Reeves Superman, Keaton Batman, Pfeiffer Catwoman etc. were 3.75" scale. If these are 6" figures then why put them in different packaging unless I'm missing something/being completely dense.

Would love these to be 3.75" but not getting my hopes up!
