Yeah, details on that:

Quote:
We wanted to give you an update about the new ThunderCats subscription. We’ve discovered there was an error in the intended pricing, and we’ve corrected it now.

If you go to Thundercats Subscription Options, you’ll see that the prices have been updated to $25 per figure in the sub, plus a $25 membership fee, for a total price of $125 (excluding tax, shipping, and handling). Additionally, the ThunderCats figures will be $30, not $35, during All Access.

Because you purchased a sub at the higher membership price, you’ll be getting a $5 refund soon. (The incorrect $30 membership fee less the $5 refund=$25, the correct membership fee.) We’re also updating our systems to make sure that, come September, you’ll be charged the correct price for the individual figures.

Please accept our deepest apologies for the error, and thank you again for supporting this new subscription!

As always, we appreciate you being a MattyCollector.com customer. If you have any questions or need help, just call Customer Service at 1-877-GO-MATTY or email MattyCollector.CS@digitalriver.com.
And I did get the refunds. 2 @ 2.50

Images of the subscriptions figures are up except for Mum-ra. Panthro looks weird.

The figures look pretty good, I'd love to get some of them, but Digital River, never again!! Hopefully, they'll pop up on Ebay, so I'll cherry pick the ones I really want, like this gorgeous Pumyra!!

panthro looks great! very accurately on-model to his animated counterpart. makes me wish they took that same exact approach with lion-o instead of adding their own stylizations to him.

Compared to the new show's designs, these look as ridiculous as the old MOTU stuff, sorry. Especially Panthro's head and lips are just... disturbing.

I can't deny the figures look pretty good, but I'm completely on the fence about them. Normally I would say no, but they are really pulling on the nostalgia strings right now.

Bet next year Mumm-Ra in the All Powerful form will be the exclusive. They just know how to get ya

Although I am on the fence with this subscription, I think I'm ultimately going to do it, and not even just for the exclusive, but because I had all the Thundercats figures when I was little, so it would just bring back those memories of having them all again. I only had a few He-Man as that was just before my time, so I have the few MOTU Classics of the ones I had. Thundercats and Ninja Turtles were my favorites growing up, and there's no shortage of TMNT these days, so it looks like I'm gonna pull the trigger and sign up soon.

Agreed.

These are very tempting, but DR is enough to keep me from ordering these.

I feel so out of the loop, first I hear bad things about Mattel's subscription service now DR.

What am I missing?

Pumyra's skirt is a downer. I hope it's bendable or something so she can sit in vehicles. Panthro looks better than I was expecting. He doesn't look like a He-man figure unlike Lion-O.

The only reason mummy mumm-ra is an exclusive is because it was an exclusive in the 80s

It's overly expensive, horrible the way they ship it, and customer service is rude and can't understand English.

It's not stereotypical the people of whatever country they have just doesn't understand any version of the English language.

Best part is that they are all named Mike, Brad, Lisa and Heather...

Yeah, not getting the 'head is too big' complaints. It looks just straight out of the cartoon..

Welcome to every toyline since at least 2011. I have half a mind to order a dozen subscriptions and sit on them until those people have their inevitable panic attack. How these new shops that keep springing up make it is a total mystery to me. Seems like everything has to be half off with free overnight shipping for people to even look at it. Or maybe they don't make it and I just don't see them close up because I never moved my business away from BBTS.

Too much hassle to run a whole other website for a sub only toy line that, realistically, is going to have little impact. When the license was in full swing in 2011 and 2012, the site was barely being looked at and that was when we had mainline toys in retail stores, a collector line, statues and a cartoon.

If a cartoon or movie ever makes its way to audiences, then it might be worth opening up again. But right now, I have no interest in opening that back up.
