All of them except Batman look pretty good. That Batman though...geez that thing is ugly.

The prospect of getting a Lockup figure is cool, I just don't like that its hidden behind a paywall of rehashed cel shaded figures (and the Batman does not look good). Silly cash grab is what it is - and its a turn off. I skipped Condiment King, I'll probably skip this one too. Some companies sure go out of their way to make a quick buck.

It's not rocket science. "Keep the talent happy"....or in this case, keep the fans happy. Give me a 3 pack of Condiment King, Lockup, and oh, I don't know, Red Claw and it's an instant purchase. Not just for me, but for a whole lotta people.

Gordon, jacket joker, weird batman I skipped the commish once and he got very expensive. I bought the whole wave. I may backtrack the other releases and leave the dc directs in box but the mcfarlanes open.

I get that Batman has a huge, square jaw, but why did they base this one on Robert Z'Dar?

I hate rebuying stuff.. but seeing as star wars 334 are almost 20 bucks now.( or 30 for those in a box.or 40 if you buy at fye...seriously. this line looks like a value in comparison..and if he keeps filling out my one episode villian setup ill allow it.. id still love a hugo strange, dr. Milo. Calendar girl, red claw, even a weird farmer brown and his daughter, or a walrus and carpenter 2 pack ( i need her for my gotham girls display). Or leak into batman beyond a little and get us some villians there and i wont be sad..or go gor the 5 pack box set of the royal flush gang... i know at some point todd will be making figures only for me..but go for it... gotta sell more than that stupid midnighter figure. Thats not just a peg warmer...thats an endcap warmer..

I just can’t justify buying figures I already own, that in my opinion are lesser quality paint wise, just for a BAF that is obscure and doesn’t really fit in with my DC direct line. I think for me, this line died with DC direct.

I do notice the price has gone down to $25 from $30. So there’s that at least.

The cell shading on Gordon makes it look like he poo'd and peed his pants.

I do not like cell shading at all. I don't know anyone else that likes it either. My buddies always complain about "great figures being ruined with cell shading". Companies keep churning it out so I guess someone buys it. Unless it's one big Toyspiracy..."Y'all WILL LIKE AND BUY cell shading! Bend to our will!"

Yeah, it doesn't make a ton of sense for physical figures, as the shading is supposed to be...shade, from a shadow created from a light source, but makes no sense to permanently paint on as the source of light is obviously going to vary based on limitless factors when displaying.

I could kinda see it as a one-off here or there to enhance a character, but the way they are just doing it full-throttle just doesn't look good in general - and I'd never be able to look at that Gordon figure without thinking he soiled his pants, LOL.

I'm kinda glad - I have way too much to collect right now, and I've never gone in on the BTAS stuff except for Catwoman (as I collect her in general) - these figures without "cell shading" would be too attractive for me to skip.

I'm waiting patiently for Todd to start over without the nasty cell shading. None of what he's released fits in with my DCC figures. Fortunately, it's saving me quite a bit of cash.

I may have to pick that Batman up since I never got the original release. Hope they re-release Batman Beyond and Superman.

I'm very much in favor of this line of it will expand upon everything that kenner did. But owning every kenner batman figure that's been released to date, I've no interest in the line yet. Give me a Red Claw, Lock Up, Condiment King, or any other animated series figure never released and I'll buy. Happily.
