No. He's apart of Mezco's own IP called The Rumble Society.

A Mezco Toy Fair started this week. On Thursdays they have contests and one of the prizes for the February 23rd contest includes 89 Batman so conclude what you will. It also includes the Man of Steel Superman which is supposed to release in the next month. My guess would be March for both.

“You won! Now wait for these two amazing figures for the next few months, maybe a year from now!”

Hmmm, PRUNE-FACE looks like a more "realistic" concept than the Dick Tracy and Flat-Top release. You guys think this means they are doing comic and "realistic" versions?

Eeh, the cloth costume looks off. Too baggy/not form-fitting enough.

Still hate that name too, sounds like a Ghost Rider/ Spidey mashup. I get that they didn't wanna call her Spider-Girl, but couldn't they think of anything better?

That outfit is way too baggy. Odd because that's not usually the case.

Actually in her own universe, Earth 65, she is simply referred to as Spider Woman. But I think that may confuse the masses so in her multiversal adventures that's what they came up with. And of course fans called her Spider Gwen which makes sense to us but if you think about it, that's kind of weird. Imagine Spider Peter or Batwayne.

I'm confused as to why this figure turned out so formless and... tubular. Their past male spider-characters all had at least decent musculature underneath the fabric.

It also looks like she's wearing pants and sneakers instead of tights haha

Man, really? Two years from initial reveal to being put up for preorder, and they seemingly couldn't manage to give her double-elbows?? And what's with the under-arm patch of webbed pink being on the front of the bicep?

To be fair, it wasn't fans that started calling her Spider-Gwen, that was literally the name of the title.

Ugh. Sleepy-Gwen. Not a fan of that head sculpt. Costume isn’t bad for actual physical cloth. If I get this, the Gwen head will never see life outside of a ziplock bag.

I can kinda see why they made it like this. It serves as a quick stand in along with their other Spider-Man figures. Since they made Peter Parker Spider-Man , Spider-Man 2099, and Miles Morales, they now have to make Spider-Gwen. I like the unmasked head a lot.

Iunno, I don't really think there should be a "quick stand-in" figure in a line whose releases cost at minimum $90-100 and who sees low-double-digit releases in a year across all properties. And this one especially I don't think can really be considered a "quick stand-in" when it's been in the works for over two full years already.
