Living in the U.K. I hate it whenever there are Walmart exclusives, when it’s a niche type variant of a character I can accept it, but I’ll never forgive McFarlane for making the classic looking Martian Manhunter Multiverse fig a Walmart exclusive. I swear half my posts are complaints about exclusives

Yes because everyone knows cheetah, poison ivy, Wonder Woman, killer frost, starfire, raven, livewire, carol ferris, black canary, and Catwoman, power girl, huntress, lady shiva, Cheshire, alice, Donna troy, and terra all came from male characters.

And almost every female character has had a popular outfit that isn’t a “sexy Halloween costume”, and seeing as how mcfarlane produced all those stripper looking spawn ladies I doubt they truly care about modesty.

I’ve been so wanting Super Powers to make a comeback in the way Playmates have done with the classic Turtles line, or even MOTU Origins. This is close enough. I love the vehicles. I’ll definitely be gutting the capes of their C-clips and making my own.

I wouldn't go that far, but his DC line has been successful enough that it wouldn't hurt to take some more chances with the character selection for his figures.

Given how Black Manta's suit in Aquaman 2 is essentially the comics outfit. I don't doubt it's coming within the year.

Personally this stuff is what I've wanted from DCM, modern comic interpretations. Deathstroke, Ocean Master, Bane, Talon are all great additions to the line up for me. Blackest Night stuff is great but I'm tapped out after the Metals run with creepy shit.

Still want the definitive Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, but so far none have hit that note.

Talon, Bane and Nekron look GREAT!

I wish Hasbro cranked out figures like Todd does. Classified would be soooooo much better.

Hasbro makes promises. Todd makes figures.

Giganta should be a two pack. One giganta normal sized and one giganta megasized.

I would buy that two pack in a heartbeat, but that winky face makes me unsure of what you mean by “megasized”.

No he's not. He's a business man and he sells what sells. Female characters statistically don't sell as well just like Batman figures statistically sell more units than other characters. He's going to go where the money is at because, a) Like most normal people, he likes money and money is what makes the world turn, and B) He has a multi-million dollar payroll and other overhead that has to be paid every 2 weeks (in regards to payroll) and every month (for expenses and some cases as little as 10 days at the time of services being rendered...every vendor is different although most do a standard 30 days to pay). If you're releasing a bunch of figures that aren't selling at all or very few then you're going to lay off employees because you can't pay them and eventually you'll have to close the doors because you can't pay the rent/lease or anything else. While agree he needs to dramatically cut down on the variants double and triple dips, there's also a chance that he simply can't do it because he isn't Mattel or Hasbro huge. He also has contract limitations set by places like DC/WB when it comes to DC releases. Every wave must have at least one Batman figure and he can't include trigger weapons of any kind with anything. He can get around the trigger weapons by releasing weapons packs that contain items specifically made for certain characters. His Spawn weapons pack just got released and it has the two hand guns that were supposed to be included with Red Hood and it has 2 more handguns meant for one of the jokers. The rest are assorted weapons most likely meant to be paired with a specific figure in DC and/or other lines with that limitation. At the end of the day, it's his company but he can't necessarily do whatever he wants when it comes to a lot of the decisions made and those so-called 1990s quirks he has also must be selling because if they didn't he wouldn't continue to do them.
