These look nothing like the animated series. Blight never even wore a battlesuit, and since when was there even a Batwoman?

They're based on the comics.

I think it's cool they do this, and that a non McFarlaneToysStore outlet picked it up. Reminds me of the old Transformers combiner box sets.

HOWEVER - I think these should have something different, extra included. Alt paint on the figures, more weapons, alt heads. Something to make it truly special.

I can see the argument against that as if you already got it, you'd have to double dip to be complete. And if a regular thing, people will just wait to buy these and singles will fail at retail.

Right now tho if you are opening this, there is no point if you already have it. So it's just for MISB or didn't get em originally folks.

If I had wanted the BAF, I'd be mad. The price is $80, which is $20 cheaper than buying the figures separately as they were released.

Yup. I’m not happy. The finding these in Target then being denied at check-out. The riding online and paying shipping. Pulse you get the futures end trading card here. Yup if I had known this was coming I would have just waited.

I’m almost to the point that I’ll just wait out all BAF waves.

Are base stands stored in the cardboard box next to the assembled BAF?

I feel that if you're going to do these sets, include all the heads/accessories. Make it truly a complete set.

But it's great for those who want the whole thing and unable to do so.

Yeah I too am perplexed there was no Terry head. Batwoman get's unmasked but not Terry? Actually the lack of Bruce Wayne heads surprises me as well.

As someone who doesn't have any of them and hasn't seen one Batman Beyond figure in stores I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

This. Literally all this. If this were pulled with Marvel Legends people would be livid. At least with ML they're redoing BAFs and mostly upping something with it, like an extra head or paint, and while it might be a slightly higher price point, you still have a completed set of other figures and a slightly different BAF, or you know you can wait and be patient and get the BAF you want as a solid figure and just cherry pick the wave figures.

Hasbro has had years to take all that into consideration as to what will gain and what will lose. Granted, they're not all winners... This...this is purely a reason to just offload molds that didn't garner as much attention the first time.

This wave also highlights a gripe I have. Did I want a Shriek both with and without helmet? Absolutely. Will I get either because I both don't like to double dip and don't want to spend the budget on two figures for one small change? YUP. It's also why I bought one Batwoman, the unmasked Cassie version rather than get both.

Lack of weapons I get. These sets as a thing though? I just dont get it as a sensible collector.

Then that means at least someone will get something good. And I guess that is the flip side. I can applaud that. Also, crazy considering some places are rife with them. Weird distro is weird.

It's funny, I see a lot of people online referring to themselves as adult "collectors", but in my area, there are two Target stores in "upscale" communities. I have found several Masked Batwoman Beyonds, Inques, Arkham Batmans, Purple Cape Batmans, etc. at those stores.

Not judging anyone of any income level at all when I type this, but clearly, rich people aren't buying action figures, lol.

Admittedly I haven't been to Target in a few weeks but every time I've been all I see are Death Metal figures. Saw unmasked Shriek at Wal-Mart a couple of times but I don't have any interest in the unmasked version.

I wish mcfarlane would pack some extras for these boxed sets. That way at least you can get something worthwhile for its price.

Honestly I don't care for the look of that Blight figure. Downplays the creepy glowing skull.

Yeah, the neck collar shouldn't have been so high -- blocks light from illuminating the skull.
