Finally, I've been waiting for this since I saw it. Thank goodness it wasn't cancelled

I got the 6 inch version of this some months ago.
It's among my top 5 toys I've bought this year.
I imagine the Ultimate Kong will be just as awesome.

The bigger version looks great but the price is a bit over priced even when you compare it to the NECA quarter scale figures aren't that high.

Kind of weak that it's articulation is so limited. Especially considering the price. It doesn't even have knee articulation.

Cool sculpt but I feel like the head should be smaller and body should have more mass to it. Also I don't feel like this is worth the price theyre asking...

With big figures like this, I don't mind the lack of articulation at all. NECA's 18" Knifehead was a floppy mess, though that was partly due to the character design as well. But if fewer leg joints for a top-heavy figure = greater stability, then I'm all for it.

I won't be putting King Kong in one-legged karate kick poses even if it had the joints for it.

I understand. I'm not talking full on Marvel Legends articulation. But knee joints (at the very least) are a must for me.
