As a huge fan of the Mirror's Edge series, I find this kinda lackluster of a package. Temporary tattoos? What are we...five years old?

As pretty as the Faith statue is, I wish that EA and DICE would have taken the route that Square did when they re-introduced Lara Croft to the world with the Tomb Raider reboot. That set came with rather nice PAK figure that had it's own unique scheme from the figure later released, and that box set was also about 50 dollars LESS than this one. Granted, EA would have had to work out some sort of agreement with Square, but it's not like other video game companies (Konami, Sega, Capcom) haven't before. It would have been seriously awesome to have teenage Faith standing right alongside my teenage Lara figure...

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is the upcoming sequel to the fan favorite Mirror’s Edge video game.

Were there that many fans?

Not to mention for a character like Faith - a parkour master - an action figure of any kind would have been more appropriate than a statue.

Speaking of which, any company out there making Faith action figures? NECA?

Mirror's Edge has more of a cult fanbase if anything. Sales of the game were decent but not great, and there was a comic book that was put out by Dark Horse Comics that greater went into the details of Faith and the universe in which she lived. Fans of the game however (myself included) were pissed that the first game ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger, and then was swept under the rug while EA went on to concentrate on other blockbuster series like Kane and Lynch *cough* and Army of Two *cough*....

I'd have to say that it's popular enough, because enough fans badgered EA and Dice for long enough for them to take a second stab at it. My only gripe is that it doesn't solve the cliffhanger ending from the first one. Catalyst is supposedly either a prequel or a re-imagining of the universe. Details have been rather vague.

The game itself was pretty revolutionary in terms of platforming in the first person perspective, and while it could be straightforward and linear at times, when it worked, oh man...it worked, and very few games would make you feel like a bad ass the way that one could.

Outside of some very clever customs, nope. I'd rather see an import company like Figurearts or Figma handle Faith though, because as beautiful as I'm sure Neca would make it, I'd actually like to be able to pose her in some of her more agile poses, as opposed to having to worry about something snapping off everytime I move a limb.

Gotta agree that a faith figure would be much better than this statue. This collector's edition is pretty damn expensive too. Hope another company gets a figure out there
