Is it me or have the sculpts gotten significantly softer in the recent Legends reveals? The overall look of Monger is good, but there is a major lack of sharpness on the texture and edges.

Not sure if this was on purpose or not--but this made me want the Mark 3 Iron Man figure when I previously did not want it at all. If it was intentional...well played, Hasbro.

Don't collect MCU but I'm sure it's nice for MCU fans to have all these holes being patched up.

Very nice. Don't collect MCU, but very nice set. That Stane buck will be very useful for civ figures.

Apparently he'll be returning in the She-Hulk series so maybe there's a chance he'll be the BAF of a future Disney+ wave. I hope they tweak his design a little though, at least give him the classic fin ears.

About time an MCU Iron Monger was made. Those Iron Man armors are getting duller already.

If he could they'd have advertised it as such. Even in the movie it's pretty obvious that Stane wouldn't really fit in the suit given his torso's confirmed position, either he would have to have sawed his own legs off or The Dude is extremely flexible. From a film perspective it was definitely something that was done because it looked cool to have Iron Man face off with this larger doppelganger and not because it made anatomical sense.

Which is a shame because the Cull Obsidian BAF would be a great base for him.

Whenever people talk about how cool these suits are without considering proportional arm and leg length in relation to head placement, I chuckle and roll my eyes. The only things that make sense are the giant mechs popularized in manga and anime due to their sheer enormity. |
