Why is this being taken so seriously? I voted TMNT and I certainly want them to win, but if MOTU edges out it isn't going to affect my life at all. I hope it doesn't to anyone else, either.
Thank you. Sincerely.

In this case TMNT vs MotU makes perfect since. They shared virtually identical niches.

Same with Super Powers vs Secret Wars. There were some oddball matches (Battle Beasts vs Madballs, where Battle Beasts vs MUSCLE may have made more sense). But all in all, everything has been laid out great, and makes absolute sense.
Treating it so seriously like those idiotic sports games is what's asinine.

Please get over your passive aggressive BS. You've made several pot shots at me in this thread, and I am asking you nicely to please stop. Back off.
Don't worry about what I say. Just worry about telling people their opinions are stupid and pointless.

For me, these two are the perfect matchup. If it was anything else, the choice would have been easy. I guess that's just me though since I only hold the votes in this instance as in comparison to each other.

TMNT or MOTU against anyone else but each other and I may not have voted for either one.

I'm almost positive this thread is supposed to be discussing the merits (or lack thereof) of MOTU and TMNT and voting for YOUR favorite, not the organization of this series of polls. You've all made valid points regarding the bracket system and Joe has explained how and why the match-ups were set up. Let it go already.

As Joe said, this was supposed to be a fun little exercise. Let's try to keep it that way.
