For all those wanting a BW solo movie, who would the marvel villain be? Not like she has a huge list of personal villians on her resume ala IM & Spidey. IMO, she works much better as a team member in Avengers. Maybe her ex-husband in the comics, Red Guardian, the Russian version of Cap?

Viper could easily be tooled into a BW villain in the MCU. Or Yelena Belova.

Or Skrulls to tie into Secret Invasion, if that's what the MCU is doing next.

Actually...PRIOR to many of the new MCU movies that are just incredible.. it actually was my favorite comic hero movie. I thought it was made very well.....for its time.
Sidenote: there was a tie for my favorite back then...spiderman 2 and The Dark Knight. I just never considered TDK very comic booky.

Also i firmly believe those original Spider-Man movies were the catalyst for what we are currently getting from Marvel.

I hope Art Adams has seen what a real woman looks like since he created that piece of artwork.
You forgot my favorite movie Under the Skin on there too which was Praised for her acting alone. But I agree with you 100% I’d be all for a Black Widow Solo Movie. I would definitely go to see it. They can make it like a Atomic Blonde or James Bond like. If they can make a 2HR movie about a man that can shrink (don’t get me wrong I love Ant man) they should be able to make a BW Movie.

Please Disney... stop the Channing Tatum Gambit movie before it is too late.

I used to hate Channing Tatum as an actor until I saw Fox Catcher... he's kinda amazing in that movie, but I still hate him as Gambit.

I can understand where you're coming from. I don't think he's right for the role despite being talented.

I felt that away until the full trailer. Everything about it blew me away. The CGI isn't mind bogglingly good. Buts it's not even remotely close to bad either. The kind of "off" way Tom is playing Brock based on the trailer is great. What didn't you like?

Not going to watch it at the theater. Maybe Digital Download. I swear I dont know why companies think they can make a Marvel Movie without being part of the MCU? There is only so far it can go.

I'm actually thoroughly impressed with the trailer, and I will see just to see a version of Venom on the big-screen that doesn't totally suck balls.

I still don't understand the point of a Venom movie if you have no intention of connecting it to the Spider-Man mythos though. I think a lot of fans (myself included) can't get too invested in a Venom film that we already know isn't relevant to anything.

The same is true to a lesser extent for the Fox X-Men films (those are at least their own established franchise). We know the rights will revert back to Marvel by next year (provided the government doesn't cockblock everything), so regardless of the quality of future Fox-led X-films, it's hard to really care when we know their universe is just going to be rebooted under the MCU brand. The sole exception to this is Deadpool, who can basically show up in the MCU exactly how he is now with no explanation and nobody would bat an eye.

^^^^I agree. Its being said that MCU Phase 4 will implement Deadpool, Fantastic 4, and Xmen.

Edit: Also a little while back there was a Photo Shot of Hugh Jackman on the Infinity war set in regular cloths with his Wolverine Hairdo.
Sebastian Stan couldn't say much but said he talked with Hugh and Wolverine is on his mind for the MCU.

For being someone who was never a fan of the Eddie Brock version of Venom, I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer. To be fair, that may also be because I really like Tom Hardy so he makes the trailer appeal to me more than it might otherwise.

Regarding Legends, snagged an X-Force Deadpool with a decent paint job at Target tonight. Now just missing Cable. I should just order him from Dorkside so I do not end up out in the cold with him like I did with Scarlet Witch. My Abomination still has no head. Also, for those interested, Amazon has the Cap/Crossbones MCU set on pre-order for just over 40 bucks.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was on set, but only for a post credit scene.

VENOM MOVIE THOUGHTS:: i hope venom/creature has alot of screen time. based on the trailer that doesnt look like the case, they will probably show just 10 mins in the whole movie. the venom suit does look good to me, reminds me of Spawn...i hope miles morales comes out

FYI: i dont like every spidy in the spider verse, i just like regular spidy, miles and venom
