I thought I saw the Warpath and Vision variants last Christmas at Wal-Mart, but it was 4 days until Christmas, and I had MU shaped packages under the tree, and I passed and I haven't seen them since.

Nobody's seen them at all, so I've started to think I imagined it, but I have a distinct memory of holding the translucent vision and thinking how nice it looked.

Hmmm..... maybe the wave suffered from post-Xmas restock syndrome where stores are slow to restock shelves after Christmas, and so any figures released around that time are hard to come by.

The regular Warpath and Vision, and Jean Grey are relatively rare, so perhaps it makes sense that these are even rarer.

BBTS has announced some Marvel Universe revision waves featuring these 2 characters, I reckon we might see these variants now.

Hasbro mentioned doing this in the Q&A earlier this month. Along with Vision and Warpath, they're also mixing in Bullseye, Brown Daredevil and a few others.

She'll be the same as before, AFAIK.

Honestly, I'd just like to find her at all at this point. I have never seen her on the pegs anywhere in my area, though her wave has come and gone.

Since the one they showed on display at the NYCC had a new improved headsculpt: http://www.actionfigurepics.com/gall..._899x1200_.jpg I was hoping they would give the revision release Jean Grey the new head too like they did with the Jim Lee Wolverine re-release.

But honestly, I don't have Jean Grey yet, so I would take any version of her at this point. LOL. I convinced myself that I didn't need that particular Jean Grey, but after seeing the upcoming MU Jim Lee Cyclops... I've since concluded... I NEED THAT JEAN GREY!!! LOL.

That looks the same to me, except with a better paint job. They also positioned her shoulder pads downward instead of towards the top of her shoulders, which actually looks a better. Those shoulder pads make her neck look almost nonexistent.

I'm not sure that's a new head sculpt. The only sculpting difference I see is the polygon on the headband, and the rest of the differences are in the paint. I'm assuming it's a prototype, since that Cable is definitely not the production model.

Wow. You are right; you can really tell by that side by side pic you attached... it is like an optical illusion with the shoulder pads.

Yah, I was looking at it closely and the only difference I can see is that the hair is set higher on the head on the NYCC one, so the forehead actually looks bigger. Otherwise, it looks like it is just WAY better paint apps. Either way, I hope I get MU Jean Grey.
