If you can PM me some info on that collectors club that would awesome. Edit: Nevermind, I misread your post!

This is the Wal-Mart I found the most recent wave at too. Now I just need to find the next wave with Wolvie and Magneto. I guess you saved me a trip to Coors and I-40

Also, what store are those pics from with the crappy inventory? You can save me a trip to that store too

Yup, Wyoming and Academy's stock is jacked. It's almost the worst Walmart in the area, if Carlisle didn't stop selling the figures altogether. (Though I was able to find a Bucky and a Havoc there in clearance for $4 each).

I just hit every Walmart in town last night, save the San Mateo one, and I went to three of the four Targets on Sunday, and the Winrock TRU today. Speak up if you're looking for something in particular, and I'll keep an eye out!

If you find an MU Dr. Doom(sometimes shows up) I'd take him off your hands if you could do price plus shipping.

The Walmarts around me have really slim pickings for MU lately. Target's been the place to go for a few months now. Although one of the Walmarts briefly had the SS/Logan and TM/DP comic packs, and the X-Force & Avengers 3-packs.

Walmart pulls that shit all the time. At the Walmart by my work, there's a ROTF Voyager/Deluxe 2-pack exclusive that started off with a red clearance sticker on the shelf and on the box. It had just been released and was already on clearance, but for the normal retail price of $29.96. And it still hasn't dropped, last I checked.

Every time I see that crap, I can't help but mutter under my breath, "That's not what clearance means."

That happened to me! I was not going to buy anything but they had a Death Star Trooper (the kind with the removable shovel helmet) for $4 and so I went to buy it, just to justify the gas it took to go there...and the lady rang it up as $8.00!
I had to point out the red sticker and she fixed it, but it really made me wonder why they'd clearance that figure and leave the WORST SW figure of all time at full price (the fat guy with the bucket frm Cloud City)?

Anyway- spend a few hours laughing (possibly cringing) at thsi website:
Funny Pictures at WalMart Photos

Really make me never want to go to Wally World again...but I sorta do ow, just for the show!

And then after the Walmart run, they escorted Frodo and the ring to fiery depths of Mount Doom.

I'm not sure, but I may have seen worse than the previous Walmart today. I can't decide if a store with completely empty pegs for only the MU line is worse or better than having ripped trash and clearanced figures on them.

What do you all think? Would you rather have one or two crappy figures on the pegs or no figures at all?

Some token presence is better than nothing IMO- reminds stockers and orderers that more are needed.

This. Makes it easier to ask them to check the inventory, and it makes it easier to know they will be getting more and will have a spot. Whereas a store with no peg, heaven knows when they'll get it, or where they'll put it.

I think if that ripped and clearanced crap only cost about a $1 it would be ok with me. That way kids could just snatch up whatever they wanted, that would be epic.

Right? Some of the least articulated hunks of junk ever cost more than either MU or the insane GI JOe line (with it's ton of extra included for $8.00!)
those suck on ice.
I was thinkning I could get the Black canary for her head for a custom but it's terrible- the eyes are just decals.

The feeling sure is awesome showing up at a rack of pegs, full of freshly stocked MU figs.

Sadly, the first pic (with the ripped Wolvie) Walmart looks far better than any of the 5 TRUs in my area.

I had honestly been praying right before I walked into the isle, hoping it would make the night worth it. God is apparently very very good.

That's very sad. There should be a charity to prevent such things. Let the WMs and TRUs give their junk toys away for huge tax writeoffs.
