Let's use this thread as an all purpose discussion for new JFS Toys discussion. They're kicking off with the Robocop license for now. Some side chat is ok, just try to keep it focused on the new stuff!

Talk about obscure, I never thought I'd live long enough to see those guys made into statues.

So, 1/10 scale... is that in scale with NECA figures?

I'd buy them for a dollar but I think they'll be a little more expensive.

So they're literally calling these "action figures" but I assume they're actually just statues because they look pre-posed and lacking in any articulation. But meanwhile, they're calling Toxic Emil a "statue," so I'm confused.

Anyway, if they are just statues, I'll probably pass.

I don't get how some no name company got a Robocop license, and then actually sorted out getting the licenses for all these actors?

I have a few of the older Hot Toys Robocop figures but now I guess I'll have to pick up NECA's if these guys are actually coming out.

If these were action figures I would be highly interested. But if they are statues, not so much. Although the instagram post does say articulated....

It's funny. I saw that scene as a kid a thousand times and never once was scared. I guess even at a young age. My mind processed it as he got what he deserved.

A 1/10 RoboCain and/or 2014 ED-209 would have been a better start to get our attention. I agree though, if this new company is just releasing statues, no thanks. Although, to be honest, I don't see myself getting these.

On their Instagram, they show an unassembled prototype for one of the fugures. Looks like standard 18 to 20-ish points of articulation. The sculpts are just clay sculpts.

If the figure of Boddicker can point his shotgun, and it's a good sculpt (actually looks like him), I'll need to get a Boddicker. The others, I'll decide after seeing the finished product.

Depending on price, these are must haves!
The sculpts are very detailed

I just checked their Instagram and you're right, they have a dissembled Emil there, so clearly these are clearly articulated AND in-scale with NECA's RoboCop stuff. Great news, thanks for pointing that out.

Interest +80%.

They posted a poll asking if people would prefer 1/10th or 1/12th scale for these. Sadly, 1/12th was winning.

I wouldn't mind 1/12 since it would line up with the Mafex Robo and NECA ED-209 but 1/10 would be better to pose with NECA's human Murphy.

Painted Emil prototype w/articulation. Looks good, but the apparent lack of any bicep/elbow swivel may hamper the poses you can get him into. Hopefully some kind of arm swivel will be included in the final figure.

It was on their Facebook page. But they posted an update last month saying that they were sticking with 1/10 Scale.
