Linn might be trickier because she's an original character so Capcom would have to be on board all the way but she certainly seems possible at this point. I wouldn't bother only making one of the humans if it were me.

Let's just hope he'll actually be as beefy and cartoon-ish looking as the in-game sprite, if they just take one of their existing Dutch's and stick the metal arm on him like some customs I've seen this might be laughably bad.

I agree with you 100% - I would love a completely original sculpt with the beefy proportions of his arcade counterpart - but knowing NECA, they'll probably slap that arm on a Predator Dutch figure, sadly. After all, they're just repainting the Jungle and City Hunters for this line (they both still look great, however)

Linn, on the other hand, would have to be almost completely new, though they could probably cannibalize some Vasquez parts if they wanted to half-ass it (which I hope they don't do).

This is great news! The thing that gives me hope about Linn and Dutch having original sculpts is the fact that they seem willing to break out a new sculpt for the upcoming comic inspired Noguchi figure. It is super frustrating, though, because they could easily make something original and flat out amazing or they could just as easily make a couple of figures that are half recycled parts. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The Capcom AvP arcade game is my all-time favorite bear-em-up ever. I still play it regularly on MAME and even made my own GI Joe-scale Linn custom:

I hope they're not going to do the sucky "8-bit" paint on Dutch and Linn, that's the only thing that kept me from buying the Contra set. I just didn't like that paint-scheme.

The Predators NECA revealed didn't have the "8-bit" paint scheme, so I doubt Linn and Dutch will either. The paint on the Predators matched the artwork shown in the animated story line cinemas between levels, so Dutch and Linn will probably end up looking like they do below as well.

Dutch looks like he's one "Power Up" from turning into a Werewolf in "Altered Beast" lol
I'd be up for a little more muscle, but I think he'd look kind of silly with a Big body and a tiny head.

The title is a little misleading. Dutch has definitely been confirmed, but I don't think we know if they're doing Linn yet. Hopefully do they do, and I'm hoping they stay true to the source and give us an anime-inspired face unlike the weird hybrid Machiko is.

Seeing the image comparison... yeah they already missed some sculpted detail on the Predator just so that they can reuse an existing body without any remolding, that's kinda lame.

Excited to see that new head sculpt, but I'm starting to get really worried that Linn isn't in the works. Getting Dutch would be cool, but kind of completely pointless if they can't make Linn as well.
