Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destroyah Re-Release by NECA

This looks so good. Lucky for me I am not an in package displayer. Puzzling why they released this because it is peg warming at my Targets. They should have gone with nuclear Godzilla. I don't need this one, I NEED the nuclear glow in the dark one. Hopefully it will follow soon.

The Reactor Glow Godzilla was a Loot Crate exclusive.
I don't know if NECA would give that a proper release.
Have they done anything like that before?
Has any manufacturer that partnered with Loot Crate?

I'm not sure what happened, but last year there were tons of them on eBay. I managed to get one for $20 shipped.
They're quite a bit more expensive now although some sellers have somewhat reasonable prices.

NECA did it with their Alien Eggs. The 4-pack was released as a Lootcrate item, and then they released it again as a 6-pack.

Love the packaging, but no thanks. It still isn't even screen accurate.

I love you NECA, but I'm not re-buying all of the first Godzilla figures in cooler boxes. Thank you for not adding buildings or cool effects pieces...or else I'd have to buy them.

Yeah, a nice building or two or a even a giant powered up blast effect for this version would have been nice and a selling point.

I'll probably rebuy the 84 figure, but none of these other Heisei monsters interested me before, they're not going to interest me now. MonsterArts made me learn to hate the Heisei era really badly.
