Yeah, I get that. I just wish it wasn't at the expense of their other lines, but I understand that it's nice to make money.

Meanwhile I am STILL waiting for ANY kind of reveal for the Hammer Horror license they acquired nearly a year and a half ago. It's really starting to concern me that they have no interest in doing anything with it and are just going to sit on the license like Mattel did with Back to the Future.
Holy shit, I totally forgot they have the Hammer license. What a disappointment that they wasted the money on it but never did a damn thing with it. I would have loved some Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee figures.

That said, I just washed the 1930s version of The Mummy that NECA recently released as part of their Universal Monsters line, and I was heartbroken to see that Boris Karloff only appears in that movie in that (fucking awesome) form for under 5 minutes. The rest of the movie he just looks like a normal human being.

Renet is a thinker. I'll get it, it's good to have a female like that for the turtles. The whole clocks thing is growing on me. That stupid head dress not so much. Good thing for the short hair sculpt. If we can take the cape off it could probably look really good for an 80's cartoon female. With the cape and head piece it looks like defenders of the earth.

Mummy Mikey! This looks way better than I expected. The skinny arms and the crazy face. Gotta have it.

I need all of those secret of the ooze accessories!

Aye, right? That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that. If it actually is that's a pretty clever and hilarious in-joke. lol

And aye, what have NECA done to my mate, Lothar?

You have no idea how long I've been waiting for Jagwar and Dreadmon figures. There was a Jagwar figure pitched before he even showed up in a comic (1990).

Was hoping to see more Gargoyles. I mean, awesome to get full reveals, but I was hoping for at least a tease of something we've not seen yet.

Well... He doesn't fit with the NECA AWIL ultimates but I think Jack fits best as a Toony Terror. Also, not a huge fan of Halloween 3 but I'm very tempted to get that set to go with the TT Sam!

Have they said anything about when Wolfman and Mummy are coming out along with info on the Hammer line?

I saw some new Gargoyles were announced, which is great, but I'm still waiting for everyone that isn't Goliath and Repainted Goliath who was already announced to go up for preorder.

WHich is why NECA should have included robes and an Ardiff Bay head for their figure. The figure is great, but like you said, he's only dressed like that for 5 minutes.

Though, that doesn't take away from the movie one bit as it is still an absolute masterpiece.

If you want to see some movies of a mummy monster fully in mummy form, check out either the Mummy sequels Universal did or watch the Hammer version of THe Mummy, which is a remake of the Universal sequels.

I saw the NECA Wolf Man and Mummy in a comic shop recently. I didn't pick them up because I'm waiting for the b&w versions but they are out there! Hope that helps!

Yeah Wolfman is already shipping. I just got a ship notice for it from Chosen Prime a few days ago, and The Mummy is expected pretty soon too.

Alas, it looks like we're still not getting a single mention of Hammer Horror this weekend from NECA.

Overall I'm very happy with the reveals this go-around. The Archie books are some of the best TMNT comics out there next to the original Mirage run. I'm all-in with all of these. My only gripe was the "Haulathon" nonsense and making Renet's gear red instead of blue like they were in the original run. I get why they went with red since that's how she looks in the last recent reprint of those stories, but c'mon. It was a bad choice then, and it's a bad choice in toy form.

That Dog Thing is beautiful and I can't believe we're finally getting anything from that property, let alone ones that are done well. Can't wait for them to fill out the cast and I'm anxiously anticipating their take on the various other forms of the alien.

Nice to see the finished Shaman Predator. I was wondering how that skull mask would look but it's actually decent. The weapons he comes with are nice but that poncho is...kinda a let down. I was hoping for armor with rib bones or spines on the back to fit the motif of the skull mask and weapons that have skulls and bones all over the place and instead we get...cloth. Minimal effort on NECA's part that they didn't sculpt torso armor. Seems like none of these new Ultimate Lost Clan figures will be able to completely live up to Battle Armored Lost Predator.

Oh, it definitely was. Plus the anachronisms from that era made it a fun watch as well.

They're on my list.

Nothing ever will...it's NECA's best Predator figure ever, IMO. I'm still so thankful they improved upon the original's limited articulation with an Ultimate treatment, but they really went above and beyond with the light-up visor (especially without disturbing the awesome mask sculpt in the process).

BTW, can anyone explain this new take on the Shaman Predator? I don't recall any of the Lost Tribe wearing a skull mask like this in Predator 2. Is this from a comic or something?

I think its a new design from NECA? I remember reading a post from their Twitter which stated that for the Ultimate Lost Tribe, every Predator who only appeared masked in the movie would get a newly designed head and those who only appeared unmasked would get new masks.

TMNT really has gotten to the point that they're digging VERY deep into trying to find figures.

I'd rather they try and get us the figures people want ie a new cartoon April for example.

Renet is a really deep dive. Honestly surprised they aren't doing Karai.
