Renet is a really deep dive. Honestly surprised they aren't doing Karai.
So they have the license for the Mirage comics again, right? The first thing they should be doing is rereleasing the turtles, Shredder, and April and then going to do other characters. It's great seeing the Fugitoid and Umtron, but I have no interest in them if I don't have the main cast first. Karai, Rat King, and Baxter are far more important than them.

Looks like first up is...Slash, apparently.

Which is an odd choice. Surprised it's not the actual TMNT or Shredder first. Although didn't they have that Shredder as some exclusive already, so maybe that's why?

I've seen Goliath and Taiglo in stores, but I'm surprised we've had NOTHING on Demona yet. Not even a pre-order.

Slash wasn't in Mirage, that's the Archie line.

I haven't bought a NECA Turtle since the original Mirage ones, but I just preordered that Slash. If only they would make Chris Allan-esque TMNT.

Aye, I still don't understand how that cartoon April got through the entire design process, production and release without someone being Chandler here...

The Catwoman from Channel 6 set had her cat head be of a good size. How they screw up the human head so bad?

I wholeheartedly agree there. It's easily my favorite figure NECA has made and the design work they added really feels like stuff I could picture being made into practical props for filming. Most of this line has been great but the new ones always have some general misstep. Stalker is awesome but the torso armor just doesn't match the mask styling and that C-clip arm accessory looks like a Kenner accessory. Other figures like Warrior looks like he's going to have over-sized accessories. Shame but they are some damn nice figures.

I can't say I've ever seen a full skull face mask, though there have been some with bones there. I think it's just an NECA original. I kinda like it. It's an interesting look.

That's what I recall as well.

I can't wait for all the TMNT stuff. All the figures I wanted as a kid but didn't have. Well, most I did have but these actually look like the cartoon.

I'm glad NECA is still mining the roster for more and more characters. Really brings the episodes from childhood back to the front of your mind.

Ive never really read the Mirage comics but I enjoyed many of the Archie issues. I'm stoked those Archie figures look like they will blend in perfectly with the cartoon releases.

I should read some of the IDW stuff and Last Ronin. I've heard it's good.

Geez, are they never going to produce any more Colonial Marines? I mean, how many Predator fans do I have to kill before further USCM figures become more viable by NECA's arcane calculations?

Well caved and PO'd Renet. The only NECA TMNT Figs I have are some of the Mirage Studios figs. What are the chances of them re-visiting April or Shredder in those styles (missed those)? Also, a real pipe dream, a Richard Corben styled April would be nice.

Honestly I think it's because NECA keeps getting new dream licenses. They spread themselves a bit too thin. They're kinda like the Telltale of toys XD

I'm still waiting for them to give us proper figures of Lambert, Kane, and Dallas for Alien before they get to the rest of the Marines cast.

Makes sense, I guess.

Yeah, but at least three are figures of Lambert, Kane and Dallas (and in multiple scales and formats). No one's ever produced action figures of Crowe, Ferro, Wierzbowski, Spunkmeyer, Dietrich or Gorman, to the best of my knowledge (okay, DST made Minimates, but those don't count).

Elton John was kind of cool but I don't know about $120 cool. Alf on the other hand was an instant preorder.

Anyone know how tall Alf is? Is he going to fit the 7in scale of their main lines or is he a scale unto himself like the Mogwi (and also in their own scale Gremlins)... If he's his own scale I'll skip- but if he can go with all the Neca Aliens, Predators, Horror Icons then he's a must buy!

I just wanna see more details about the Dog Thing, I don't mind behind the scenes grayscale shots, but when you start showing off the painted figure, I wanna know more about it!

Ultimately, I'm not going for Elton anymore but man if NECA made a Robert Smith, Prince, or David Bowie that would really be something.

Didn't NECA do figures of Bowie from the film Labyrinth? Which even back in the 80s seemed a bit sus given his alleged history with minors yet is somehow regarded as something suitable for the whole family to watch while he walks about in overly tight trousers trying to seduce a young girl who still loves stuffed animal toys? And fans have done all sorts of... 'art' of those two characters. This world makes no sense. lol But aye I seem to recall figures of that on the shelves and if that wasn't NECA then I dunno. lol if it was then they had his likeness rights at some point no?

I am figuring Alf will be in the 7" scale like Chucky. So like 4-5" tall? I don't know how tall he was in the show.

The actor in the suit was 2 feet 9 inches so add maybe another inch for costume and say 3 feet?

Noticed, and at the same price as Thalogg. I was tempted, but might take my chances with Target. I was able to get Thailogg for 32.99 at Target where BBTS has him for 41.99.
