It likely will have balljointed or swivel-hinged hips that could allow it to stand but the creature design would make it awkward anyway. This isn't a bipedal werewolf and its head would likely not have the movement to make it look down enough to be in a standing position.

100 percent, yes. If I was by myself at night and heard that howl in the distance, I'd shit my skeleton out.

Man, I want those guys as much as I want the werewolf. They were so cool.

Hell yes! This is a great surprise. They better have a decomposing Jack and would also like to see a Slaughtered Lamb sign to display with it! Hopefully it will lead to more cult figures. Would love to see them do a Warriors 1979 line.

SOTA did a line of the werewolf Nazis as part of their Now Playing line.

They should get the Teen Wolf license and do a single figure of Scott with regular head/hands and wolf head/hands. They could even reuse one of their Michael J. Fox headsculpts if the license allowed for it.
Or a brand new head sculpt of Micheal J Fox. But great idea on the Teen Wolf action figure! Hey lmk on license deal on the Thing.

I also want to know why he believes they can't get the 1984 The Thing license. Ever get a reply via mail? @

No telling how long till take though
Correct. I’ve talked about this a few times. It’s a similar situation as to what happened to Elm Street and Friday the 13th. The rights reverted back to the writers estate a few years back.

Agreeing with everyone. This release does make me wonder if they will try other werewolves...Teen Wolf, Michael Jackson Thriller's version, etc. I'm real interested, need to see articulation though, but sculpt is great.

I always thought a wave or series of vampires and werewolves would be awesome. I know many of these would have very limited appeal. Many of us would pay more to have them though, than not.

Rick Baker will have a fit when he sees that! Spindly front legs, pitiful "mane" and no tuft of hair on top of its melon. Tut tut :-)

This new head isn't quite doing it for me like the last one. (Though having the eyes looking 'up' might be part of it. How exactly does that work? You'd think he'd be looking straight ahead, right?)

Seems as if the head plugs into the body horizontally not vertically on top like it is with the stand so the effect would be kind of a head down, looking upwards death gaze.

Yeah it's weird, I swear in that initial pic and that grey mold that jaw isn't articulated/separate, but in these close-ups it is.

Probably two separate heads.

NECA just shared on Twitter that they're doing the mutant-Nazi nightmare soldiers.

That is pretty cool. I have my Sota versions, but I’ll get the neca figure for the added articulation. I’m sure neca will due several heads for the figure. Any word on how many come with him?
