1 Attachment(s)
Attachment 63118
NECA is killing it in the horror department and I'm just eating it up. I'm over the moon for this guy and I spat out my horchata. |
I've been waiting for a Kessler Wolf for years. Fuckin' A!
|
I Would agreed...
NECA is doing Nice Things... With, The Horror Fig Market.. Will be waiting to see the reviews... on the AWL wolf fig.. I wonder the scale, tho. |
Oh my goodness, that looks great! Hope it actually comes out this time lol.

NECA American Werewolf in London Figure
1 Attachment(s)
Scariest werewolf ever in a movie, and we're finally getting a figure of it. NECA posted this on Facebook a few hours ago. Just passing it along.

Oh wow, I thought we'd never see another after PCS cancelled theirs!

Hell yes! Glad they were able to nab this license. Hope they are doing the backpacking versions David and Jack as well.

Merged the two ongoing threads.

I know over on the Movie Maniacs forum (yeah it still exists!) that whatshisname that headed up PCS said the AWIL and The Thing figures were already in tooling, I wonder if NECA would have any interest in using their tools for the backpackers or if they'd rather sculpt their own? They looked pretty good, albeit missing some articulation from what I remember!
|
Oh, brilliant! :D
|
Wow, didn't see this coming! Between this, Universal Horror, and Hammer Horror, NECA is really expanding their horror licenses this year. I just wish they could get the Thing license, but I know that's pretty much impossible right now.
They should get the Teen Wolf license and do a single figure of Scott with regular head/hands and wolf head/hands. They could even reuse one of their Michael J. Fox headsculpts if the license allowed for it. |
Wow. Beyond awesome.

I'm still waiting for someone to do a Logan's Run line with her, Logan, Francis, and the rest. |
I will gladly get the wolf... but is it too much to hope for hiking Jack and David figures?

I wonder what accessories the Kessler Wolf might include. An alternate head seems reasonable since the jaw doesn't appear to be articulated. Maybe the inspector's decapitated head?
I also wonder what the chances are that NECA does the Nazi Mutants. |
Though I always loved werewolves as a classic monster they never struck me as scary..... until this movie. The pain of becoming this creature, and the horrors of the actions you commit without any free will to stop it. To forever be haunted by your victims who are cursed by you even in death. The man being chased through the halls of the train/subway station, David and Jack being attacked in the Moors was all so genuinely scary. I really can't wait for this figure to come out.
|
Omg
I've been waiting for this since 1981. I first saw this movie when I was 8 years old and wanted a toy of the werewolf ever since. I gave up on getting one until now.

Man I hope Neca allowed enough articulation to get him into a standing garou pose. He would be even better than the oddly amazing Dr Who Werewolf figure!
