Looks like they were under the tv shelf all night with the screens left on pointed right at them in the pitch black.

There are still 50 lurkers! If you guys are interested in Marvel 3.75" MU, join up! We need some more members here. Also, thanks for the Peter Parker pics everyone! I think the Squadron Sinister 2 pack head would be perfect if it weren't for the stern face. I'd go with it if it were neutral.

Do you guys have any NYCC predictions? It's at the beginning of October so I think we might see an MCU Strange or the ANAD version with an axe. I also think Gwenpool is likely due to her recent jump in popularity. EDIT: I mean Spider-Gwen.

Could somebody post pics of the MU Family Dollar variants? The only one I found was Thor.

So looking at the same 51 Legends 6 inch figures that have been peg rotting for over 2 months at my Wal Mart, I noticed the different labels Cap, Spidey, and Avengers so essentially three different lines sharing UPC codes and was reminded of something mentioned here. If there was ever a time to try a seperate line of 4 inch figures again it's the Spider Man movie. I'd love a movie Spider-Man and Vulture and then 3-4 comic characters.

That is the one really big thing that Hasbro has got right that Mattel did not. They both had the core line ( MU and DCIH ) but Hasbro did movie lines for Thor and Iron Man, in particular, that were 100% MU compatible. Mattel did an example of a critical fail that is dictionary example worthy. CCC. |

I wouldn't hold your breath on that, Marvel Universe is an afterthought now, we're lucky they even bother to release anything new, Gwenpool is a long shot at best. Just get a custom, it would be better than anything they'd release to us anyway. Quote:

I "lurked" for close to two years before I decided to even register much less post. Active forum posters are often the embodiment of "vocal minority". That's not a slight, just a truth. More people read and don't post than actively post. That goes for most forums for anything.

Going out of business and they still charged $5 for items over 10 years old? Yeah, that's why you've been closing stores left and right K-Mart.

				 | Quote: I meant Spider-Gwen. I thought of Gwenpool for a second. Speaking of her, what's the deal with her character? Gwen and Deadpool have no relation. I know it was based off of a What If or something like that but it's pretty weird that she's getting her own series. Also, that Champion of the Universe in the background is killing me. I need that figure so bad. |

				 | Quote: Actually none. She is Gween Poole from a world like DC's Superboy Prime if you are familiar with DC. In her world Marvel exists as comic book characters just like ours. There's are no super heroes. Unlike Superboy Prime she does not gain any super powers when she is trapped in the Marvel U. Her Deadpool like attitude comes from the fact that she thinks she is living in a comic book and that there are no ramifications for her actions since it is not reality. She was a fangirl in her universe so she knows a ton about the heroes and villains in the Marvel U from reading comics.

It was made by Noodlechow and is quite possibly one of the finest MU scale Spider-Man's in existence. And I'm honored to have it on my shelf.

				 | Quote: That is badass! The painting on it is superb. I actually thought this was a Select or old ML when I first saw it. I've seen and heard about Noodlechow's work from really old pages, and that custom really lives up to the Noodlechow hype. You're extremely lucky to own that. That is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best 3.75" Spider-Man in existence, one of the best Marvel 3.75" customs in existence, and maybe, one of the best 3.75" customs ever. Thanks a bunch for sharing! I'm not as active on this forum as I once was, but I've methodicaly built one of the largest collections of quality MU customs around. These are just a very small sampling of the highlights

				 | Quote: I honestly don't feel it will ever go back to the glory days under Hasbro. They are obviously focused on 6 inch, Dwight Stall says real collectors don't collect 3 3/4, and so unless they fire him or he leaves of his own accord, it's not going to happen. Guys like Shartimus Prime who have a loud voice in the reviewing game are not fans of 3 3/4. The only hope is that some other company takes a chance on 3 3/4 Marvel figures, because Hasbro has no interest in it anymore.
