This was the Mysterio posted. Note the Chameleon head. Woot!

Chameleon doesn't have any noticable/protruding ears though...
This looks like a retooled Xavier head, nice enough for a custom once Chuck hits en masse. Good to see a proper head under the Mysterio bowl, hopefully it isn't overly glued down

I guess Dave Vonner said that he sculpted it to be the Chameleon but that Hasbro added ears after the fact for some reason. Kind of like the "Peter Parker" head under bag-head Spidey. A nod to customizers.

No nose, line down the forehead, on a Spidey-villian.

He said he was confused as to why the ears were added but maybe that means they are using this head for some figure down the road. Definitely easy to make Chameleon out of this.

That would be my MU holy grail for sure!!! I feel like I read somewhere a few years back that they wouldn't go past Marvel Select releasing the Marvel Zombies to the masses because parents wouldn't approve of their kids wanting them...I wish I remember where I saw that.

^ and they sold out everywhere they sold those zombie vipers! I myself bought 4 since they are so damn cool! honestly, that would be my mu wish-list grail! they can do a marvel universe zombie online wave and I'd bet they would sell out of every figure. they could even do a giant man zombie exclusive since they already have a mold they can adjust a little...
oh and don't forget they also did marvel zombie minimates so...

I only found 2 Zombie Vipers but they are at the forefront of my Cobra Army!!! Perhaps because Cobra are the bad guys it is justified...I have the Minimate Marvel Zombies as well and I don't even collect those!!! On a side note, we also need Dracula and other Vampires!!! Spitfire & Vampire Jubilee please!!! Oh and Werewolf by night too!!!

Not sure what you're getting at here, mate.

Are you wishing these existed? They already do. Do you want to buy them? There's B/S/T.

The short answer is because Marvel said no. See below for a bit more detail.

You may have seen it here during one of the Q&A's, or possibly me paraphrasing it every time someone asks about it. Marvel Select is marketed to adult collectors (for the most part) and can get away with more mature themes and subject matter. Marvel Universe is a mass-retail line that is marketed to kids/parents (no matter what we think - it's still for the kids first).

You're comparing apples and oranges, mate. Besides, it wasn't Hasbro's decision - it was Marvel's.

There are plenty of zombie customs available on Ebay for folk who really want them, I don't see the fascination personally. There are far more kid appealing figures to release. A couple of new mainstream villains would be nice IMO, even reissues or new versions of previously released ones. Carnage, Venom, Sabretooth, the Goblins etc

Found full wave at target yesterday, Nova, Angel, Puck, Nighthawk, and Hercules. Didn't know if those were spotted much yet, but this was Target in STL.

OR, the Chinese sellers are lifting these toys from the factory, and like they can't get any accessories cause they will get caught and maybe headpool is considered an accessory by production standards.

Yeah pretty much, headpool is just a head so it could be considered that too, like toys that come with headswaps. The lack of availability online shouldn't necessarily mean that it won't be in the box for SDCC

Agreed. I expect it to be there, too easy not to include.

I think they need to release a new single-card Deadpool. The last time we got one of those was for the X-Men Origins line and it usually goes for gangbusters prices on eBay. The only other DeePs we get are in multi-packs and resell for comparative prices individually.

There's the 2 pack with Taskmaster and the X-Force 3 pack, in the mainline, are there any others?

I got lucky on vacation in Paris last year, I went into this TRU kinda place and there was a bunch of XMO:W stuff. Managed to snag the 2 Deadpools they had for 15 bucks.

On the discussion of XMO:W stuff, was there a single card comic sabretooth like the 2 packs?

The only single carded Sabretooths were movie style versions. There are no known single pack comic version Sabretooths that have been released since Hasbro got the Marvel license.

That is pretty weird but true.

XMO:W Blob 2-pack
XMO:W Wolverine Motorcycle 2-pack
Marvel Universe XMO:FC TRU Exc. 2-pack

I've got the Blob 2-pack, it's a pretty decent Sabretooth.

He doesn't get the accessories, I assume because the QC process there is different, and it might be small enough to qualify as that.
