I saw someone on another board say that Hasbro said we had 26 new figures coming this year.
Don't know where that came from, but 16 repack/repaints, cap, rhino, mysterio, elektra, b&w iron man, baron zemo, abomination, a-bomb, cloak & dagger=26.*

COOLTOYREVIEW has some shots up of a Hasbro/Marvel case.
No new MU (that we haven't seen) yet, but some new ML, and new MU cardbacks featuring the Watcher in the background.

Yeah, I know. I was just explaining the reason why Red Hulk killed Emil. Andy was asking about the difference between A-Bomb and Abomination, so I gave a little back story about how one appeared and the other disappeared.

I always thought it was a shame they killed abomination like that, he went out like a bitch. He deserved better.

What the hell were they thinking having red hulk punch a watcher, just seems silly. Are watchers even tangible?

If someone gets a clear shot of the cardbacks, it looks like Cloak/Dagger's cardback shows the "new" XForce Wolverine, "new" Ghost Rider, and Baron Zemo.

Looks like BW Iron Man(to the left of Angel) has the "new" Incredible Hulk and Cloak/Dagger(can't make out the far left character-think it's Ghost Rider).

"Marvel's Abominations" looks like it has "new" black Spidey, "New" Hulk, and Baron Zemo.

Yup, plus the descriptor "Marvel's Abominations" clinches it.
Same as Cloak/Dagger.
Looks like they are going to be "running changes" along the lines of the ML ones.
Hope the distribution is better on them, though.

Marvelousnews.com is reporting that Marvel Universe is dead, rechristened as Avengers. I dont know if this will change the character selection or not, but its supposed to be the same style, and ment to make retailers pick them up. I'm not as pleased with this, because again, I dont know if we'll get more new characters or end up with the same avengers over and over.

Thanks for the update. I'm definitely not happy that the line is ending or switching names as it were, but I am happy that the figures will continue. All I can do is stay positive and hope that we'll continue to get new characters from throughout the Marvel U and not just Avengers-centric characters.

I'm sadly willing to bet that all of the figures in that display that we've never seen before are customs. They always cocktease us like that.

Except for Black Knight, which was confirmed a few years back. There's a chance he's legit.

Black Knight is confirmed.
There is also a list of 12 or so repaint/repackage figures we are getting this year (in addition to the 4 we have seen) out there, one of which is Nightcrawler.

I hope the new Avengers Line is styled after M.U. and not the 90% crap that is the current Avengers line. I think MU finally came to the end of the stuff Vonner had in the works and thus THE END. I can see the Avengers line being just like the new Wolverine Movie line( hopefully I am very wrong) Just got a feeling Hasbro is going to totally f#%k this up.

I'm sad to hear that the Marvel Universe line is ending and being rebranded as Avengers, got a funny feeling that we may start to get more useless redone figures as opposed to new ones. However the Abomination wave looks great and can't wait for those.

If the figures stay the same and we get better distro, I could care less about the name change of the line. I they hit the shelves and they look like IM 3 or The Wolverine line, then clearly all hope is lost.
