The Warpath and Colossus is interesting. But they are just going to be revisions like the others. Id be very surprised if they repainted them.

This has been beat to death. We all want reissues of the hard to finds. Here's hoping the new line is helpful in that instance. Colossus is a weird one though, like Gladiator before it.

Did a lot of hunting the last 2 days, pretty barren for any good MU stuff. To add insult to injury the MU pegs at my local Walmart replaced MU with those crappy Avengers Assemble all star figs. Oh well I started tinkering with the stuff I had, can wait for avengers 2.

Is Luke Cage really that sought after? I remember Cage warming the pegs a couple of times.

I would buy the mold again if Hasbro did that. He did at first, but he never got put in a revision case later on. So he's one of the figures that basically had one wave of releases and nothing afterward (except for the 70's-style version in the 2-pack with IF). I think most of the ones on Bill's list are like that (ignoring variants).

If anyone wants to check out an hour long interview with David Vonner head over to Marvelious or check out their podcast on itunes. It makes for a good listen. Marvelicious Toys - The Marvel Universe Toy & Collectibles Podcast He really gives some great insight into his time running the line. Stuff like how Howard the Duck was really meant to be in with Fin Fang Foom or how MU wasn't meant to be a very big line when it was started.

From my perspective if that figure was made anyone (besides aunt may) could be made. I can't believe the figures they passed on. Im a bit worried after hearing the podcast. Hasbro seems to be shooting their selves in the foot with an Avengers movie line, Avengers All Star, and Avengers Assemble line on pegs before MU transforms to the Avenger line. I don't know if the people behind the line have the vision of Vonner to give us a mixture. Think about it valued making a Forgotten One. Hasbro seems happy to make the same characters from the movie. |
