Why are people assuming these are 3.75"? It explicitly says 'new, larger scale' and 6" in the text. The 'Infinite' lable matches corresponding 'Infinite' figures found in the Captain America Winter Soldier Legends line. This isn't MU nor in scale with MU. It's something else. |

^ the cap and IM in the pic are the MU 3.75" ones, and the body on grim reaper is that MU standard mold. I'm happy there is some news on the new line!

Yeah, those are clearly MU parts used so that means the same scale. Hyperion is he one that looks new. I don't think he's using the same parts as the 6" one but doesn't look like an MU buck I recognize.

				 | Quote: They can simply scale the parts larger for new production molds. I'm not quite sure why everyone is intent on believing these are 3.75", when it explicitly says "new, larger scale". It's right there in black and white.... |

If I saw a picture of a giraffe and the caption said "pig", I'd go with giraffe. Just sayin'... =) Either the pic is wrong, or the description is wrong, but everything in the picture implies 3.75 scale.

DC is in the game gents. So my Azrael and Bane from DC Comics Multiverse (Mattel) arrived and I have to say they are really well done and comparable to the Marvel Universe line. I was worried because A) the DC Collectibles 3.75" are a bit small B) Mattel has a crappy track record with the scale C) the press shots of the figures don't do them any favors and D) the articulation seems lacking. I am pleased to say I was 100% wrong. The scale is very 3.75"-4" ala MU. The figures are scaled closer to the MU 4" scale so they fit in. The articulation is somewhere between the MU line and the Marvel movie line figures. The knees move, the thighs swivel, the legs are T-Crotch style but move in every direction like a ball joint except the ball joint is inside of the figure so it is more limiting. The waist swivels (unlike the Marvel movie lines) and the arms have the internal shoulder ball joint as well. The elbow move up and down only unfortunately and the wrist turns. The neck is a ball as well so the head can move although for these two molds they don't have much to move bc of the sculpt. The paint is perfect (unlike a lot of the MU figures). The accessories are little to none ala MU. All in all these figures are a must buy for the MU side of the house and I HOPE Mattel will keep this line going as MU has been in flux. All in all a keeper and a welcome addition to the scale.

I kinda wish Freeze's left hand were open cause I'd have him clutching somebody by the neck.

I want to army build the Mr. Freeze figure. Paint them up to be Doomsmen or Doombots. They look like they could be in some kind of Dr. Doom army.

It's right there in black and white.... Also, we've seen so many errors in promotional material from Hasbro getting the size wrong wouldn't be surprising. Like the previously mentioned Cloak and Dagger 2-pack that was still being solicited by Hasbro after figures had shown up and we knew they were single carded. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. It seems that old info or concept ideas sometimes get mistakenly sent to the marketing team. It means either the picture is wrong or the text is.
