Just got these 3 Iron Man Avengers for 6$ on clearance at my LCS in Paris.
Of course, for POA issues I would have prefered some IM2 deep diver or stealth ops (they're so static I swear they're the last Avengers Movie figs I'll buy), but they'll do the trick as Ultron Drones! _Hi Tony, I upgraded the boys _Oh sh~#&

Thunderlodin...nice army!!!! I was just saying yesterday on the UK marvel universe thread that 30 is the perfect number for an army builder to shoot for...and there you go posting one
(29 is close enough) ![]()

yeah some folk were unlucky, found nothing.i only ever found im2 figs at tk's and in a way i was glad i only found 1 im2 pack.remember the black friday multi packs?8 figs for $25?some people where charging $30 a fig from that same pack.the pricing structure of MU is a joke, vision being valued at the same price as Giantman?lol.i dropped $160 for giantman a while back,i dont regret it,but i would not pay the same for vision,no way.

I saw one, once. Passed it up for someone else, I forget who. Never saw another one at a store again.

Yup, Red Ninjas. Perfect for the Hand. Just ignore the Arashikage symbol.

Instant Hand Ninjas if you can win the auction.
The GI Joe Retaliation Wave 1 Red Ninjas might be better for the Hand than the 25th ones. The Ret Red Ninjas don't have the Cobra sigil. Gi Joe Cobra Red Ninja Trooper vs Kamakura Army Builder Huge Lot x20 Complete | eBay |

i disagee on the scalpers comment, thanks to some fellow collectors here and in other groups i got figs/sets at cost.those guys im inclined to do a deal for,if they are interested in anything i have for sale.when deals like sentinels for $20 or Black friday deals happen all it does for me is show me who is good to deal with and who is not.

If I sell older stuff with a higher value I always try to come in below whatever the current market price is and give someone a good deal. If it's currently at retail I think cost + shipping is the way to go. Maybe add a dollar or something for you time.

I don't disagree with you there, I've had access to a fair few good deals due to fellow collectors and at the same time, other collectors have demanded astronomical prices for their wares. I just laugh when people blame the "scalpers" for certain prices and then ask for the same price when selling figures off.

i held on to a couple of toybiz legends/hulks,because there is a market for them.this whole business of picking up the latest legends at $20 and selling for $40 is not right, likewise with the latest MU. |

So I've got a chance to go to toy fair this year, and I'm trying to think of what to say to the Hasbro guys if I get a chance.
Should I just thank them because I loved MU and move on? Should I berate them for their case ratios (3 IM to 1 Wasp??? I also believe Thor and im2 killed the 4 inch scale because of their inept case pack outs.) Should I point them to the ninja turtles aisle as an example of what could be done (core characters always available but with a wide variety of supporting characters, vehicles, play sets, mini play sets, etc.)? Should I try to convince them they can cater to kids and collectors at the same time (maybe 15 points of articulation, generic body styles with minimal new tooling for figs, but also a wider character selection.)? Should I yell at them for not letting people know what figures are in each case?-(I believe variants do more to hurt collectors and help secondary markets, which Hasbro doesn't get a piece of--just tell people what toys you are selling and let them buy them instead of the running change guessing game bs) |
